I stumbled on this a few days ago and thought it would be of interest to the Bluelight Community. It's a trailer for the upcoming movie "After EDC" which chronicles the 2010 Electric Daisy Carnival and shows how one underage MDMA overdose death will forever change the Rave scene. I attended the show for all 3 days in 2010 and watching this footage still sends chills through my body. The film is set to be released at the end of next month and should be an amazing watch for any raver or MDMA user!

Post your feedback and spread the word!

So those are called "raves" in the US?... Around here it's just an illegal party in an old warehouse or sumthin

i'd call EDC a festival not a rave.

i call anything slightly underground with EDM music in some kind of venue a rave (unless it's a festival). and if it's illegal in a warehouse or a field i call it a free rave.

I agree with you, anything huge is a festival/concert for me... a rave is underground with spytrance/psydub and almost everyone on K or E.

my only problem with skrillex (apart from the fact i don't like most of his music, which is just my opinion) is that too many other producers try to copy that sound. so there's more dubstep i don't like floating about.

@nemm I don't think she had anything to do with this. And to be quite honest 185,000 people and only one death is pretty damn good. I mean at rap concerts w 20,000 people u usually have at least ten deaths so our percentages are doing quite well! And I'm sick and fucking tired of hearing the media say overdose on ecstasy! Does anybody even know what that girl took? I'm willing to bet the house it wasn't legit ecstasy since u need an insane amount to even come close to overdosing on it. The media is to blame for 99% of the bad reputation e has. FUCK EM!!!

I wonder how you score solid MDMA if you're a tourist and go to EDC.

As for the UK stuff, about time MDMA made a comeback with techno music. In the 90s, a lot of people were doing drugs - it was standard to smoke weed and do E/speed at events, maybe do some LSD once in a while. As a result the 90s was very calm when you were out, no annoying pissheads.

It's why I pick my events mark, you can still find that vibe... The drug that reeaaaally has a bad rep though seems to be LSD. Major Etards look at me in disbelief when I say them I enjoy LSD. It seems people are so scared of it these days... ugh

if LSD didn't last so long it'd be less scary to me.

2-4 hours would be a good duration.

lemme just say theres no way in hell that girl took mdma. She wouldnt have died. You got to take a RIDICULOUS amount to die.
