It's gonna rule - and it's gonna get loud. Saw 'em in 2011 and they killed it.

This is my favorite Mogwai song. It has such an eerie vibe to it. It's hard for me to listen to sometimes but oh so beautiful.

No other song gives me a feeling in my chest like this song. It's almost a feeling of regret. It reminds me of December and cold and snow and anxiety that comes with visiting family for Christmas.
Fear, terror, horror...Long story short, I ended up walking to a public restroom ten minutes away. And I did this for longer than I care to admit. There's a lot of life-affirming beauty in those emotions. Thank you.

Libby and Red, those descriptions/stories gave me a laugh.
I read about this Australian spider, I think it was the funnel web spider, a larger tarantula looking guy who can swim, bite through leather, and is extremely venomous. I wanna move there when I grow up.
It also brings to mind, living in CA, how so many brown recluse bites occur in bed, within the folds of the covers. And lastly, I fell asleep once at a landscaping job I held and awoke with several black widows on my arm. I haven't slept on any job since, haha.
(Oh, and the daddy long leg venom thing is a myth)
Okay, I'm done being a creep.
LOL Red, the spider story. My boyfriend is the same way. Except with stinkbugs at our old house. He'd make me catch them and every time I'd made a blood curdling scream.
As a kid my dad used to have me playing with all sorts of creepy bugs. He'd always be telling me to let the daddy long leg spiders crawl on me. It wasn't afraid then but I would never touch them now. I heard somewhere daddy long legs are as poisonous as brown recluses but their fangs aren't big enough to puncture our skin. I was good on daddy long legs after that.
What type of deity would make a world with the path to enlightenment paved with gigantic spiders? That's just cruel.
moe.
