This Shambles was brought to you by the letters O, X and Y and by the numbers 10 and 20... and such has been the case since Sunday. Mostly snorting 10mg OxyNorms first few days and mostly 20mg OxyContins the last coupla days. Only got 60mg of the Contins left in me stash and the fella who has them is off on a benzo bender so getting a tad nervy he ain't gonna make it down here tomorrow and as such drop me in it a bit. Steep ol' drop if he does cos wasn't planning on starting a taper til next week :\

Got some bupe to hand (a most welcome gift nestled amongst several other most welcome gifts gifted in a big ol' gift box of late) but would rather use 'em for pleasure than practicalities if possible. If mateyboy doesn't turn up tonight with me Goodies I'll just have to go a-hiking tomorrow I spose. If the mountain will not come to Muhammad and all that ;)

Oxy certainly is stimulating ey, used to be my "day time" opie ;) how are you doing generally Shammy, apart from indulging in one of my fave drugs? Not had a catch up in a while..

Oxy, bupe, grr. Fueled by paracetamol here :| stupid cold.. anyone fancy bringing their favourite mod a hot toddy and some hardcore opioids? ;)
 
That oxy will give your tolerance wings, Mr. Shambles. It's a real bitch for doing that in a very short space of time indeed.
 
Get yerself down here to the valleys, Ms Eff. Seems we're fuckin' drowning in a rather unusual combination of floodwater and so-cheap-it'll-make-ya-weep oxy and fent at the moment =D

Other than that, am rather good at the moment thankee kindlee, Ms Eff. May even muster a proper PM-stylee communication in the nearish future if this energy bizniz stays with me - especially if the drugs I'm planning on for this weekend work out :D

*wipes ms. eff's snotty bits and passes her a toddy so hot it can only exist in textform (hardcore opiods were offered in the prior paragraphs but suspect it to be a bit too long a walk for either party to make it in time unfortunately)*

EDIT: Fuckin' tell me about it, Sam. Went from me usual 300mg a day of codeine to 40mg of oxy on day one... was up to 160mg yesterday - maybe 180mg come to think of it - had 120mg so far today and frankly feeling pretty ropey bar the stimulation. Got enough for tonight and tomorrow but definitely do not fancy being cut off dead due to unexpected benzo binge on oxyman's part :|
 
Got a belter of a headache from all this smoking. Is the other thing I've noted with this oxy malarky. All opies make me smoke more than usual but this stuff is lethal for it. Been getting through 1/2oz of baccy a day more or less this week. Is as bad as the first week of a geebee run 8o:!:\

Actually, if I were to describe the effects of oxy I'd probably describe it as being like heavily opiated GBL. Perhaps an odd description but sums up the effects for me just about perfectly.

I'm watching BBC2 Now and T in the PArk is on, Klute starts at 0:50am here! I thought for a bit it was this years T, the information on Sky says 2012 highlights, but according to the T in the P website the festivals next month.

Got a bit extra given to me for free! So the stuff I was saving for next weekend could be used now, and as such, has indeed been used now. :D

Sadly it appears my Ket guy has gone off the radar, entirely. Bad craic indeed. :\

Score on the freebie oxy too. Am currently pondering whether to have another 20mg now or try to save it for the morning. Only got 60mg of Contin left and took that amount to stop me sniffling and aching this morning so should be saving it. On t'other hand, have already got a sweat on cos I've had a fair bit less today than yesterday and oxyman has promised he'll be down again tomorrow. Meh. An oxy in the shnozz is worth two in the hand so really should be saving it... Decisions decisions 8)

I'd reckon saving it for the morning would definitely be the best call. It's getting pretty close to the time of night where sleep is more than just a thought in the back of your head. I think it'd be more use having it tomorrow. :)

(personal opinion, anyway, of course ;)).

Do you crush up your Contins, or are they American? I get Napp ones, so my time release is broken just by cushing them. =D
I'm wondering whether trying it with the time release still working is worth it or whether I'd feel I'd wasted my Oxy. :\

Decided to put off the decision til after a midnight munch during which I noted it was a fair way past midnight, am already kinda tired, and that oxy is stimulating as fuck so will be trying to save it for the morn. Depending on whether I can sleep or not. Gonna tuck meself 'neath me sheet and watch summat mindless and see if snoozes come visit methinks.

The Contins I have are also UK Napp brand and have found that it doesn't really make a huge difference whether you snort 'em or eat 'em really. Snorting is a tad more euphoric maybe and with a more noticable kick at the kicking in stage. Swallowing 'em was surprisingly enjoyable and effective too. Can't recall precisely but think the BA is a bit higher taken orally rather than nasally but may well be mistaken. Took quite a while to really kick in but definitely lasts longer. Kinda as you'd expect really - not so uppydowny as snorting but a pleasingly pleasant and lengthy plateau with a gentle fadeout. At least that's what I thought on the day when I had to be out and about doing stuff with folk I really can't be appearing overtly wasted around. Have also chewed a couple here and there - kinda midway betwixt snorting and swallowing maybe. Hard to tell due to being generally quite twatted anyway. Definitely not wasting 'em orally though.

Wasn't aware that the Napp ones are more like the oldskool US ones. Hmm... *ponders the possibilities of the IV route for novelty value sometime*

Aye, it certainly lasts a lot longer orally, I would always mix and oral dose with a wee line, so that I feel it faster and I'd agree it seems more buzzy and euphoric, possibly because of the faster onset? Or perhaps more likely, just placebo.
I'm considering eating one without taking away the time release some time, kind of forum own novelty value. ;)
I suppose I shall have a stab at it some date, possibly a nice lazy day. =D

All the Oxy I've ever received have been Napp Contins (I've never tried IR) and I've always been able to just crush 'em up. They don't gel. Unless of course there's a new formulation and mine are old, as there's supposed to be a new formulation for their Morphine Sulphate (MST's), isn't there? Which would make me think perhaps they've done the same with their Oxy.

Sounds like a tester to see if they gel up is in order in the near future then. For the sake of science alone, naturally. I tried prepping a coupla OxyNorms (also Napp brand) for plugging thinking they'd be fine cos they're IR capsules and they didn't gel but they didn't dissolve either. Ended up just shaking vigorously till the solution was a milky suspension then did the deed sharpish before it seperated out again. Actually wasn't all that great anyway which surprised me. Barely seemed to work at all but probably just took longer than plugged stuff usually does as I presume it took considerably longer to absorb than a properly dissolved solution does.
 
I wonder is something just purposely added to them then, Shambles.
I could understand with pressed pills, because it would probably be binders and stuff, but that just sounds a bit odd.
