Yesterday while I was sitting in the backseat of a car, I suddenly saw a double rainbow which symbolizes "transformation". The most terrifying part was when the radio started playing a song called "Some people die young". Synchronicities are no news for me and has been ongoing for a while now. I happen to dismiss the thought of "coincidence" and instead apply the thought that everything that happens around us does so for a reason. I got the feeling something is telling me I'm gonna die soon, but I seriously don't want to die. However on this day, I had been spoilt quite a lot and even drank alcohol to celebrate the meeting with my mom as I hadn't seen her for a while. Whenever I eat junk food, buy or eat luxury stuff, do drugs or act selfishly/unlovingly, I swear, SWEAR, that I hear and see much more stuff related to death, pain and accidents. I don't know what is causing this, and I'm quite scared this means I need to change to a more loving and enlightened lifestyle or else I am punished with death.

What does all of this really mean?

you're not going to die. a double rainbow is meaningless. you are projecting this meaning of death onto everything.

but if your body or sense of guilt or shame or whatever is telling you that you are living an unhealthy life, change your unhealthy habits. it takes a lot of abuse for your body to actually die. and don't worry, your english is fine.

I forgot to mention out of laziness that I also saw 2 dead birds 4 days before this event. I checked what that meant and... whaaa, it also means transformation. I just can't conclude this case as mere coincidence, and I can't help it but associate them with something to do with me dying. I've also used the tarot card deck to check what would happen each day this month, and tomorrow on the 14th, I got a death card. Again, coincidence...? No way.

I know that transformation doesn't necessarily have to mean death, but seriously, after hearing that "some people die young" song perfectly synced to when I first saw that double rainbow, its hard for me to release the thought. I've checked numerous sites on the meaning of spotting a double rainbow, and it apparently either means a bad omen or transformation. as of late ive also seen a lot of numer 118, meaning the current phase of life is nearing its end, and number 555/5555, meaning major life changes, possibly DNA entering the 5th dimension (I have no clue what that means) So there are a lot of "change" messages being sent to me. I'm really confused in what way I should comprehend this as. Death? Evolution? Or just clearing all the old to make room for new? As of now, because of the sync between the rainbow and song, I cant help it but become pessimistic about the messages...

to you, 2 dead birds means transformation. to me, it means 2 birds died. can you at least see that this occurrence has no real objective 'meaning'? you (or whoever/whatever you check with) is assigning meaning to it.

so then you did your tarot and got a death card? coincidence? no way! well, sure it could be a coincidence. just think about the numbers at play in the universe/multiverse. it's suprising, to me, that coincidences like the one you describe don't happen more often. also, you should do some reading on selective recall and confirmation bias. you should also consider the idiom that "when all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail."?

further, i'm no tarot expert but the death card in tarot doesn't necessarily mean death. as i understand it, it simply means an ending (which can sometimes be a human life but often not). you want it to be about death so that's the meaning you're assigning to it. well, we'll know on the 15th whether the death card foretells your death. i'm sure, if you're still around on the 15th, you'll have some convenient excuse to explain why you didn't die?

Does that mean Im going to die, or does it just mean that a part of my life is about to transition into a new one? no, it's just a coincidence.

and it's not even a very good one at that. the op has been seeing the number 118 a lot. you see two similar number (1810 and 18) and assume they must be related. to me, there's very little similarity between the number 118 and the date 1-8-10. the digits are in a completely different order, for a start. this is what i mean when i talk about hammers and nails...

another thing to consider is that people often talk about the scary number of occurrences of numbers and digits and they always tend to be low. no-one ever says "it's crazy but the number 218,996 is of special relevance to me". we see low numbers so much more often, day in day out because of their very nature - they just occur far more often.

And in my time zone it is 8:13 pm when you made that post, which is very significant to me!
It's not good to get too caught up in it though, I suppose. But according to some, the order of 118 can say a lot.

Of course you're not going to die, BottleinaBottle. You give it the significance. Why should lyrics of songs worry you? Why should numbers worry you; or the movement of the planets; or other peoples words?! Seeing a double rainbow is a nice thing to see (I've never seen one!). Be happy, relax, you'll be fine!

i have had the dead bird omen a few times and twice i had subsequent significant troubles. i could have kept on a path to destruction, but i didn't. learn your lesson and make the appropriate changes and do something worthwhile to keep yourself busy and thoughts away from this fear.

Yes, I agree with you. It's just the interpretation of their 'meaning', like anything else. That's the whole point, really, and the nature of 'mysticism' and 'spiritual healing'; that one may choose the 'rules of interpretation' infinitely. So there is no one 'truth', but a shifting perspective of ways to view the same, unchangeable facts. It's all about interpretation of meaning or intent. But a single person needn't hold one perspective of believed 'truth', that's all I'm trying to get at. Don't grass me up to the admin, will you?! I'll stop creating accounts and posting.
