festival death due to " Benzo Fury" ?

Two of the deaths are not directly drug related, just to point out, a road traffic accident has claimed two lives. Giving out known shit pills though, i mean for fucks sake.

Not what I'm seeing. 2 people died in an accident but 3 at rockness aswell from what I can gather.

Fair do's, the only reports i found said 3 deaths in total. I know non of the deaths have been confirmed as drug related either, but to reported as an overdose non the less.

Hey, long time no post. Been lurking on and off for the last year or so after not posting for a while but I was checking on here to see if anything had been posted about this. The guy who died as well as one who was hospitalised at the same time are both within my extended social circle (reluctant to call them friends as I don't know them intimately and don't want to jump on the 'close friend' bandwagon as everyone seems to do when someone dies) and from what I've been told the hospitalisations were almost certainly drug-related. Not sure what they'd taken, whether it was actually 'benzo fury' (urgh, what a name) and if so where/whom they got it from be it a vendor or someone on site. Just thought it'd be good to focus conversation a little more as media coverage can be so kneejerk and distorted that its natural on here for people to doubt the central details of the story, in this case that drugs were even involved.

It is impossible to know what they took unless someone who was with them knows (and ideally has some left to be tested) or toxicology comes back.. with something as emotional (and undeniably tragic) as this there is always a kneejerk media response unfortunately and that does mean I tend to disregard anything printed in these stories until something more concrete come to light. Thank you for coming and posting what you know.. if it is drugs-related as you suspect, it's important that we find out the facts (for example if it's a dodgy batch of pills we can add it to our stickied warning thread).

To me that sounds like a "heard from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from some random person, who heard it from another random person" type scare story.
No doubt there are bad pills around that people really should steer clear of but the being handed out for free by black guys from London part needs to be taken with pinch of salt IMO

Loads of people at parklife taken out in ambulances, no deaths as far as im aware.. all where surposed to have taken "pink pills", saw a very young girl around 15 ODing really badly... not a nice sight when your in that kind of state... once again the scousers where in full force selling them dirt cheap after parklife put out a message to avoid all pink pills after the first nights disaster....

dont know will i take it now and just stick to the pills n 2Cs.

That's from more than one source now there were black guys from london actually going upto peoples tents with bags of those pink M's. Apparently they were charging some people £5, others they were just giving them for free.
I was speaking to a few boys from glasgow at the train station in Inverness today. They said it was the worst festival ever - because one of them had spent the night with the paramedics, he'd taken 2 pink M's and some 'DMT pills', none of them at all clued up.
Also a bird I knows mate spend the night in intensive care. It's 2 people dead one girl and 1 boy, the other 1 was in intensive care but is fine now other than being ill as fuck. She said he'd also taken the pink M's.
About 90% of my mates were there and most of them are all saying the same kind of things. Not really had great feedback on the festival in general tbh.
