No, he has done it countless times not in jest - usually when he's having a bad day. With the type of cancer he has and the stage it's in it's more than likely he will die of old age, so why would I not say it back? If he was terminal I would never ever say it, but i'm not gonna sit on BL for the next 30 years letting him say it to me on a near weekly basis without getting some of it back, am I?
