Then again Italian football is rife with match-fixing which has so far resulted in the banning of several top players, not to mention Juventus's enforced relegation a few years ago.

If those Spurs games were straight then fair play. But I honestly don't think I could be that certain when it comes to Italian clubs.

Anyone see the Genoa-Siena game where the fans stopped the game and demanded the shirts off the players? The only guy who stood up to them has a grandfather who is famous mafioso. Nuff said.

well i apologise for the fact that I dont post here that often...That has no bearing on how I feel about the current state of affairs of both teams. If Di Matteo had focused more on the prem in the last few weeks then this wouldnt really be an issue. I know thats just a "what if" but in reality his selection said it all in the last few games, which by all means were big matches. I have respect for what Tottenham did that year in the CL, it was very entertaining to watch, but i dont think that side will be able to make a big splash at the moment. Notice I didnt say "they didnt make an impact" like you paraphrased.

edit: Plus in case you didnt notice, I was just trying to wind anyone up, mostly because Im going to laugh for a long time at some of my mates who are Tottenham fans if all goes well. It must be fucking frustrating to lose out on a place you'd earned
 
Neveroddoreven don't give those yids any credit. Fuck off if they finished 4th, Man City won the league this year and they were fucking woeful in Europe. There will only one club in England with any bragging rights come September when Chelsea brings home the Super Cup.

Tottenham are on the internet and they've got a new web site. It's called the trophy cabinet.
 
Cam on Chelski. I'm a United fan but would like to see teams in the PL doing well. I respect Bayern but don't like them, mainly because of that early ageing cunt Robben. He has an extremely punchable face and knocked us out of the CL a couple years ago with a fluke goal. Plus Ribery is one annoying cunt as well. I have the urge to euthanise him.

I concur, they all have the same annoying head! As a UTD fan myself it was a hard one deciding who to support, hate to say it but id rather an english team won so come on chelski ! show them germans

BFS was never going to be a fav. with the Academy fans me included.

He did what he was employed to do though n in football that rarely happens .

It's one of the best games to win the Play off Final n a gutter to loose especialy if you finished higher than the other mob.

I'm fukin made up got the Champagne out well my Mum has n it means as much to her shes a huge Hammers fan .

Are you saying that Man U did not spend the most money of any club during the first decade of the EPL? I remember shaking Ken Bates hand when he bought Chelsea for a pound and took on a mountain of Stamford Bridge debt. Buying Chelsea for 120 million was probably one of abramovich's best investments.
I would rather be Russian than fallin' down the league table. ;)

If my shop skills up to it I would have superimposed the Chelsea lion over the top of the sickle. I was going more for the Russians towering over a burnt out German city (admittedly Berlin, not Munich ;) )

England should take second place after the French but will find Spain too strong in the knockout.

Holland, Germany, Spain, France to make the last 4. Really looking forward to Holland/Germany group game and hopefully again in the final.
