Recently I got ahold of some 5mg percocet's, I usually take 3 or 4 and feel pretty good. The downside is I always feel slightly nauseous throughout my high, would plugging these possibly help reduce this feeling? It's not overwhelmimg just lingering, like that feeling you get in your throat right before you vomit with the increase in saliva. I don't have much of an opiate tolerance at the moment, about 20mg of oxy will get me good and happy. I don't really experience nausea with other opiates (with the exception of the first time I used street dope). I just don't wanna have to take the rest of these knowing before hand that im gonna be nauseous. I have read up on all the plugging info I could (especially on opiates), from what I read a CWE is not required so I was just gonna crush, dissolve and plug them. Im comfortable with plugging as long as it helps take away the nausea, any thoughts?

the problem with plugging percocet IME is that you have to use a larger syringe, like a 5mL to account for all the volume of pill matter/h20.

It's best taken orally, but you could give it a try it certainly seems to cause less nausea.

You should take an anti-emetic instead possibly, or just try diphenhydramine and see if it helps. If you have access to ondasetron it's the best anti-nausea medication I've ever tried.

I get the same as you. Though it didn't start in the beginning of usage.
I find that the time you use it , have a lot of good food and water, juice or something. Really helps with nausea ime. esp next day hang over.

Would any antihistamine possibly help with opiate nausea? I should try this next time. and any bad side effects mixing the two?

Anti-emetics (such as antihistamines) can be very useful. My girlfriend is very sensitive to opioids and taking some meclizine is very helpful for her. As far as side effects, the antihistamines that are good for nausea are sedating so they will add to the sedation from the opioids.

Most people experience more nausea from increasing the rapidity of the onset so plugging could very well be counterproductive. The worst nausea I've seen is in IV users so I can't imagine that by-passing the upper GI is going to be that helpful.

I don't get nausea per se from oxy..percocet...
but motion sickness does set in..~ 3 minutes into a car ride!..Does it to me every time!
I take dimenhydrinate (dramamine)...about 15 min. before my dosage of any oxycodone..if I'm to be out and about...and it
seems to work for me..
we're all different though..
some of us more than others..;)

Really, I just prefer to stay home when on oxy...find out who your real friends are that way too..
as I live an hour from "civilization"..so it's a trek.

Good luck..hopefully somebody came along w/the advice you're looking for.

I cant see how plugging will make any difference when it comes to nausea seeing as the nausea with opiates is a direct side effect of the drug, it isn't for example because the chemical is caustic and irritating to the stomach lining.

^ Yep, plugging won't have any effect on the nausea, I've tried opiates by every ROA there is and I throw up almost every time if I don't take an anti-emetic first. Such is life ;)
