25i-NBOMe color

Hello, its been a while since I've posted but im always browsing.

Anyway, I came across some 25i-NBOMe which had been expecting to see as a white powder/crystal. When I finally got the chance to see the substance I was surprised to see a light (though noticeably) pink color. It is a fine powder with almost clear tiny hard pieces. Im just wondering if i should feel safe doing any research with this particular batch of 25i. It seems pretty common to see varying colors in tryptamines though I had assumed because of their susceptibility to oxidization. Phenethylamines seem to be much more stable and have almost always been white and crystalline IME. I can only guess that this is some type of impurity. I am wondering if such impurities can be dangerous? Hope this ok to ask. If not just let me know.

25i-NBOME and Lab Urinalysis

Searched for it, couldn't find a question specific answer. It seems 25i wont pop a false positive on a sahmsa 5 but my question is would a lab need to specifically look for 25i or is it possible to cover phenylethylamines as an umbrella test. I know 2c-I is detectable but if my dose is in the sub mg range would it even matter. My guess is that metabolites remain regardless of dose for certain periods anyway. I am in an outpatient for heroin and do not want to screw things up for one night of fun. Obviously safest route is to abstain, but I would prefer to continue researching what RCs I can in the meantime. Thanks!

Also I am aware of the rules regarding drug testing questions, but figured since this was nowhere to be found on bluelight and no drug test specific page on erowid mods would deem it fair game.
 
It is hydrochloride salt BTW. And subject should 25I-NBOMe but my phone is not allowing edit.

Hah, I kidding about that anyways. If the entire duration is 12 hrs, how long does the plateau last usually?

Iamme90, it doesn't really make a different to me whether or not I spit out or eat a small piece of paper, but thanks for the heads up.
 
Is there any way to store 25i in candy? I hate the taste of putting it on folded tissue paper, so I was wondering what would be a sweet tasty way to store/dose 25i?

Maybe it's a trace iodide impurity? I've got some 87%~ 2c-i that was a distinctly pink color before and lab analysis showed iodide impurity.
 
Finally got around to trying 25i, had it in the stash box for a few months now but the stars just hadn't aligned right or whatever. Fixed up two test tubes for vaporization ,one with 300mcg & one with 200mcg. Did the 300 first over maybe 5min. Waited a bit, was definitely getting weird but didn't feel it was quite enough so took a little bit of the 200 & gradually finished it over the next hour. Redosing much past 30min didn't seem terribly effective. Come up was pretty quick & intoxicating. Not nearly the rush of DMT but from zero to full bore tripping in 15min or so. I could feel a strong vibrational energy in my body & head. And a much stronger tactile component than I expected. Via vaporization the peak was maybe 90min & then still at a low +++ for another 3hrs or so, then pretty steep dropoff & return to baseline in about 6hrs total.may attempt a nasal spray next to see if that stretches out the peak any. Haven't read too many other reports of vaporization.

How would you prepare the nasal spray? I have 50mgs coming in and I would like to go this route, but I have no idea how much liquid a spray sends out, so dosing might be difficult.

(Any other ROA recommendable? And would it really really need to be HPBCD complexed?)

Only needs to be complexed with HPBCD for sublingual
 
Drops of this compound are really popular here in Slovenia at the moment. But the last time, when I organized a small private psytrance birthday party, a 17year old kid took just a few drops and went totally crazy... He was running naked on the fields, jumping from cars to tents, ranting like a maniac all around (I wasn't aware of that) and when I was DJing he suddenly ran to me, screamed like a gargoyle and started hitting my computer with rage!!! I couldn't believe my own eyes... They gave him some benzos and he calmed down in a few hours, all he needed was weed ;D

Anyway, I don't really feel like trying it out since a lot of people are (mis)using it here. What's the situation elsewhere?

First off I would like to say hello to all as this is my first post on BL.
I have read the entire thread over the past couple of days and have just a few questions.
I've never laid my own blotter before let alone handled a compound that is active in micro-gram doses.
I have a scale that is accurate to 1mg, I am ordering a micro-pipette from amazon and am ordering blotter paper from a website that has perforated paper with art on it. Tomorrow I should be receiving 500mg of 25i-nBOME. If i could have ordered a smaller amount I probably still wouldn't have due to the fact I got this for $50. Now for the questions.
1.Aside from weather or not it dissolves in water or not, is there any way to tell by looking at it if its the freebase or not? My vendors site does not specify. If its the hcl should it look like granulated salt?
2.Can someone please show me a micro-pipette that I should buy, I've never had to look at them before, nothing fancy something under $40 if possible.
3.Other than people partially explaining how to create a solution, is there an actual how-to anywhere on the web?

You say you've read the whole thread, yet you don't know how to make a solution?

a 1mg scale won't be enough, unless you're laying 1000 blotters all at once. In that case, being off 1mg or 2, spread over 1000 blotters, wont disrupt the potency too much.

In my opinion (and experience) the best way to lay the blotter is to soak it in a bath.

After being complexed, the solution becomes very gluggy (think about it, you only need about 8mL of liquid to completely soak a 900 sheet blotter paper). If you do 2 passes thats 16mL... If you have 500mg NBOMe you'll need about 5g of HPBCD.. That's 5.5g of powder going into 16mL of water.

There's no way you can tell whether it's freebase or HCL visually. I'd just go ahead and ask your vendor.. If they're not saying its HCL its most likely freebase. If it's freebase you'll have to dissolve in ethanol.

Unless you're going to be individually dropping your solution onto each blotter seperately, I wouldn't see any use for a micropipette. Maybe just get a couple 10cc and 1cc syeringes to measure out your ethanol quantities.. That's how I did it. If you want more info on how I laid my blotters I can write up a bit of a tek..

What did you take of each, ROA and time. This is an interesting combo, especially after reading your comments as well as having access to these :) About your visuals, how were the CEV's /OEV's and what other experiences would compare (if any)?
 
Sorry I did not clarify everything that well, I'm not planing on bathing my entire blotter sheet in a solution, I plan on dropping each one individually.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could write up a tek on doing this.

OK, let's say I follow tregar's posts exactly as specified, except I use Food Grade 99.5% Propylene Glycol in place of the 95% etoh, all other things being equal (including his 25i-nbome/HPBCD ratios). I would then use the Propylene Glycol solution as a nasal spray or sublingual using an oral syringe. Should this work, or is there something wrong with using propylene glycol, or would keeping it as a liquid solution degrade it?

Well, it'll be a bit of an involved process. I'd hesitate to attempt it if i didn't have experience with this type of thing. First one would have to buy a metered nasal sprayer, like the type that come with prescription nasal sprays. Then you'd have to test it out, most likely by weight to make sure that the sprayer is indeed accurate & repeatable. Then calculate the dose you would like per spray & dilute to that concentration, quintuple check your math, & administer ;) If that sounds too complex or like something you otherwise might fuck up, i wouldn't recommend it.
 
I alway's throw up, peyote, shrooms, lsd, that's when the trip starts.....lol, no big deal, if your a die hard tripper, you've puked more than one, or you ain't lived, it becomes an art, trust me......35+ years......
