What's the deal with benzos and opiates mixed together? Example of a situation

If someone partied, no alcohol involved, and takes about 150mg valium (diazepam) in total and takes maybe 10-20mg klonopin (clonazepam) in total
then when they go to bed they take 37,5-75mg imovane (zopiclone) and 100mg ambien (zolpidem), 2mg halcion (triazolam) and 20-50+mg nitrazepam
keep in mind, this guy has a high benzo tolerance, that's why the measurements are so high

Then as he goes to bed, taken all his sleep medication, then he takes 200-250mg tramadol and takes 5 codeine/paracetamol (acetaminophen) tablets, dosage being 30/500mg
so in total 150mg/2,5g codeine/paracetamol (acetaminophen)
Again, keep in mind, this guy has only tried 200mg tramadol before, and it was a while ago so he doesn't have an opiate/opioid tolerance.

So to make this into a simpler list, here we go:

This guy has a big benzo tolerance and no opiate/opioid tolerance
And remember, no alcohol involved whatsoever

Party at 7pm
He starts taking valium (diazepam) and klonopin (clonazepam)
Doses in total after 6hrs (1am): 150mg valium and 10-20mg klonopin (takes his last dose around 1am)

Bed time at say 1:30am
He takes:
4x25mg (50mg) promethazine (sedative antihistamine with antiemetic effects)
80mg (2mL) alimemazine in liquid form (very (for some, including me) sedative antihastmine with antiemetic properties)
Smokes a joint

1:40am
He takes:
5-10x7.5mg (37,5mg-75mg) imovane (zopiclone)
10x10mg (100mg) ambien (zolpidem)
8x0.25mg (2mg) halcion (triazolam)
4-10+x5mg (20-50+mg) nitrazepam

2:10am
He feels his back has some pain in it.
So he takes:
5x30/500mg (150mg/2,5g) codeine/paracetamol (acetaminophen)
and 4-5x50mg (200-250mg) tramadol

This guy has a big benzo tolerance and no opiate/opioid tolerance and no alcohol involved

I've heard that mixing these two, benzos and opiates/opioids, can cause you to stop breathing.
I'm pretty sure i heard the same thing about codeine and antihistamines.
I heard that tramadol is the opiate with the least of a chance to get respiratory depression from.
Codeine i don't know.
So i have some questions.

1) How big are the chances of this guy to stop breathing?
2) Does mixing codeine with antihistamines interfere with each other?
3) Why can mixing 2 CNS-depressants cause you to stop breathing?
4) Would antihistamines count as CNS-depressants?
5) Is there a list on what opiates have the most/least chance of respiratory depression? Please link me if you know of one, or if you know for yourself, do the list in a reply if you don't mind.
6) What counts as a CNS-depressant? I know it's Central Nervous System, but what types of medications would count as a CNS-depressant? Any sedatives/hypnotics?

That's all the questions i can think of right now.

For anyone interested in this kinda stuff too and wants to learn about alimemazine, since it's fairly uncommon it seems, a wiki link to alimemazine is right here.

Thanks in advance

PS. I'm gonna start going to this school and get an education as a pharmaceutical technician or whatever it's called, so i'm trying to gain knowledge, i'm not very familiar with opiates so i think you'll see more opiate questions from me in the future.

Again,
Thanks in advance

I will say a couple of things (I can't help myself) This Guy sounds almost as stupid/careless and reckless as i have been and im very lucky to be alive, but even saying that i dont go taking 2.5g of Paracetamol in one go.

I cant preach because it would make me a complete hypocrit but you/your mate/this guy needs professional help.

No if you read what i written, im saying i have been stupid and reckless with my drug abuse just like the person you are talking about (Whoever that may be?) And they need help.

I dont mean for it to sound like im trying criticize you for tying to learn.

Yay for more pointless morning arguments...

I don't believe he said anything of the sort op.

Your question/questions combined with what you(assumption, sorry) are already taking..
are beyond the depth of some of us.
That being said...I worry about that benzo tolerance of yours(yeah..assumption again, sorry)..as will most who read your original post.

If you hang for a bit..someone will come along with a hopefully satisfactory
answer for you..

I believe the point of this site is for learning..so I wouldn't think any excuses are necessary.
Just hoping you find the knowledge you really need.

Please..don't go looking for judgement...
in the end..
most here want the best for each other..

Not talking about anyone in particular, it's just an example of a situation

my apologies

1.) There's a high chance that breathing difficulties may become an issue here or even possibly even stop breathing, espeically with the amounts of potent hypnotic benzos like triazolam and nitrazepam and not to mention the rest (100 mg zolpidem, 10-20 mg clonazepam, 150 mg diazepam, 150 mg codeine, 100 mg promethazine, and 200-250 mg tramadol).
2.) Depending on the antihistamine, yes. For example, diphenhydramine potentiates codeine.
3.) Because 2 CNS depressants mix and synargize to make each other stronger.
4.) Some antihistamines can be considered CNS depresssants in that they produce marked sedation (but not serious breathing issues), for example diphenhydramine or promethazine
5.) There is no list, they all cause dose-dependent respiratory depression. Morphine, methadone, and fentanyl seem to have a much stronger effect on respiration at equanalgesic doses, however.
6.) Opiates, alcohol, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methaqualone, some muscle relaxants, and other drugs are CNS depressants.

it's time for me to step up and be a man, get my life together, fuck, i'm only 18, i shouldn't be a drug addict, i have my whole life ahead of me.
When i'm 65 i'm gonna start doing heroin though, 'cause then i won't have to work so why the fuck not party it up a little, right?

Maybe I should change my username to: 'tokenfemale'

I really appreciate that you're looking for the light..
so do what feels right..
if you see you're going down the wrong path..
turning around is the only thing you can do.

I don't want to say anything else..as hypocritical is not my style..

But, good luck..
I never thought I'd make it this long..
so I can't say what the hell I'll be doing at 65!

FYI: I can't remember if you're in the US..but soc. sec. will be f'd by the time
you're 65..and you might just still be working after all..
hmmm...maybe I should change my username to 'killjoy' instead...
