I clearly withdrew it earlier due to lack of interest. Don't worry I'll be producing more washing up in future!

ate the meat from a steak pie earlier... a mysterious pie in the works fridge. realized it had been in there for over 3 weeks... seriously hope i dont end up ill from it

Tonight I did most recently munch 'pon prosciuttio & ricotta ravioli (from cheap bit of chiller section) in cherry tomato and balsamic sauce (from generic cheapo shelf cos Comic Relief was ages ago and twas apparently related) wiv parmesan, garlic and balsamic (again) flatbread (also from generic cheapo shelf). Cheap, tad acidy, but quite tasty.

In more exciting munchnews, also bought a 5-pack of pork scratchings for 75p <3
 
Haha sounds quite posh for the cheapo shelf ;) Love the reductions in our local Tesco, get shit loads of decent stuff for cheap; actually look forward to food shopping now.

Sort of wanting to make hashfood now, had some brownies a few weeks back that were ace but money is being a cunt again :(
 
I've got a nother kilo bag of Lidl frozen clams in the freezer, might just steam them now for a evening snack innit. Only 2.30 or something, they not bad too , as long as only steam them till they open, any longer they get tough. Only 2.39 or bag or something.

Ha! Co-Op "About to Bin It" section to be precise, MM ;)

Did have a crack at that 3 ferrer Fiver offer they have on at mine t'other week actually. Plumped for the tiramisu over the pannacotta though. Kinda regretted it immediately cos I've never had pannacotta. Was toffee-sauced one too. Ne'er mind. They'll be dumping the leftover stock soon enough cos all the lasagnes have sold out leaving only Meditteranean "Vegetable Melt" left as part of that particular deal which no fucker's gonna buy :D

PS: Have never had a clam (apart from the bearded variety, naturally 8)) but seems I need to head to Lidl at that price. Am actually in the vicinity of a Lidl tomorrow cos I've got a medical in a nearby civilised place. Dunno 'bout clams but cheapo Bourbon is looking more than likely <3
 
Ooh, might have to pop to Lidl tomorrow then! And promptly blow all my cash before I even get past the sweets section.

The Lidl clams were about 3 weeks ago, me missis bought four bags of them, but doubt they still there, you know what Lidl's like, stock something ace, it goes, then it's gone, gone.

Tiramisu I nearly bought, but the pannacottas are fucking excellent <3, go on, try it, I'll send you the £1.59 for two if you don't like them, I'm that fucking confident you'll love them...the sauce is more a caramel/alcohol type sauce than toffee.
 
I love how we all get the same co-op offers :D no good alcohol deals last time I was there sadly.

Currently eating chocolate spread out of the jar while pretending to do some work and put my laundry on. Had a lush Higgidy pie thing earlier with watercress and tomatoes :)

MM: Ha! When put like that it does sound kinda cheapskate even by my standards to skirt the pannacottas for the sake of the extra 10-15p they'd cost when not part of a fiver deal. Sold :D

As for Lidl, am properly excited. Having nowt but a Co-Op to shop in (unless I can be arsed to walk down to the garage at the other end of town which does have some belting deals on sometimes) rather limits one's palate. Limits it enough to make Lidl look like foody heaven <3

Actually really like some of the stuff you only ever see at Lidl - Germans do have rather lushy meatprodukt. And very, very, very cheap booze <3

PS: And massive tins of ravioli for tuppence happeny <3
