Hallucinating on MDMA?

The other night I was having some very intense hallucinations as I was coming down from my roll. I had done close to 800mg of molly throughout the entire night (parachuted about .5 at the beginning and railed the rest as the night went on).

I was lying down on the couch in complete darkness and I started seeing all these strange faces in the fabric of the couch. So I was like alright...that's pretty fucked up so I decided to sit up for a bit. I sat up and looked towards the corner of the room and see what I believe is my friend sitting on the ground, rocking back and forth like a mental patient...I started talking to him but there was no response so I walked over and there was absolutely NOTHING there. I then started heading towards the bathroom (still in complete darkness). As I was making my way to the bathroom, I had VERY intense hallucinations of skeletons surrounding me...it was so fucked up.

I'm just wondering what may have caused this? I smoked 2 bowls during the come down...could this be the cause? Or maybe I took to much?

I have had my fair share of molly but have never had hallucinations like that before.

Anyone else have any similar experiences?

im not sure if mdma can induce a state of minor psychosis or not , but i find during say a meth comedown if ur experiencing some psychosis and then smoke some weed it makes the psychosis much worse , and induces haluicinations if ur at that stage . sorry if this is misinformation , im not an mdma expert :/
 
I've heard that large amounts of MDMA can cause hallucinations and considering 800mg is a COLOSSAL dose i'm not surprised.
Why do you take so much at once may I ask?
 
Weed can cause hallucinations by itself.

MDMA can cause hallucinations if you have enough.
I've definitely had hallucinations caused by MDMA before. It's weird cuz you don't expect it. Back when I went crazy on MDMA, I'd have about that much (if not more) in a night/day, pure stuff. By the end, oh I'd be seeing things, but it was cool because I didn't have the anxiety aha.

I have noticed that sometimes I see things, but they are things that have happened before. Like I will see someone next to me and realize that they've been gone for a while or something like that.The skeletons thing is kinda weird. I've never really been in complete darkness, so that probably intensifies the hallucinations.

That is a lot of MDMA to take at once though, you probably shouldn't be doing that much at once.
 
Sounds normal enough. I've had multiple very similar experiences post-roll
 
wayyyy too much mdma man, ive seen mild, well, id call them "Energy waves" after my experience. BUT NOTHING LIKE YOURS. 120-200mg man, keep it simple. You aint gonna roll longer with a higher dose.
 
I've found that weed can set off all kinds of hallucinations on the comedown, particularly if you've dropped a lot, like you did.

Yeah, this. It's really common while going to sleep after having done some MDMA and some weed to have pretty vivid CEV's (I often see and hear things so clearly that I think my eyes are open and respond to them) so I imagine the same or similar can happen if you're in complete darkness. But yeah, that is waayy too much MDMA. If it's pure stuff that amount's just unnecessary and wasteful.
 
Wasn't pure shit, really good molly is hard to come by in my area. :(

Still had me rolling face though. :)

This would make explain this, I find after a heavy night I experience a hazy field of vision nothing crazy as you described .

I do however clearly remember getting some pills about 5years back were they turned out to be amphet but was up for days and when I thought I was ready for bed turned light off and seen almost a holographic figure dancing in my room just shrugged it off eolled over and slept lol
 
After I rolled my last time and smoked some mid grade weed, I would close my eyes and see a visualizer in my head then open them and keep seeing the exact same thing on my ceiling. That was the only time that's happened to me and it was after ~160 mg of MDMA. I often have dreams when I try to sleep after rolling where I can vividly see the dream and control it while I'm still actually awake.
 
800mg is actually a huge dose for just 1 night. The most mdma I've taken in a night was i beleive 250mg, 2 very strong mollys that were 125mg each. On the comdown, walls starting turning into faces and whatnot. It is pretty common on high doses of mdma. and yes, smoking weed will increase the effects of the comdown.
 
yeah i saw a pigeon grow out of blue donkey the other night, mind you i had been on the crack too like.

I disagree, MDA is one of the ONLY drugs that causes real hallucinations. Sunglasses on everyone... people/objects that arnt there... light changing color... nothing like the visuals of other psychedelics

I mean "hallucination" as it would be defined in a textbook ie perception without any stimulus whatsoever. This is not what you're describing.
"Visuals" aren't truly "hallucinations", although they are often used interchangeably.

Deliriants(anticholinergics) aren't psychedelics(5ht agonists) btw. Neither are the MD** compounds. Not saying you said that or anything just trying to prevent any possible confusion.

I think you misunderstand though...


To me at least, a hallucination is seeing something that isnt there. With LSD and such, this almost never happens, you get visuals instead, or colors and patterns in your field of vision.

MDA has some of this, but much more than any other drug, it causes you to see dogs running around, people even report trying to walk up stairs, only to fall and realize there is no staircase :!


I dont really count that as a visual lol :\

Any other drug? :\ Have you used deliriants before? Diphenhydramine or dramamine perhaps? I ask because I find it very strange that anyone would say this unless they were unfamiliar with deliriants.
