Hi all, i know there are a few 4mar threads in the forum, but they are all like old old old threads so i'm starting this new one :).


basically, got some white shardies thats been sold to me as Meth/ICE.

after indulging it, the feelings i'm getting, the effects, and the sense of no wanting to redose all makes me think this is 4mar again :)

2 other mates have tried this, also are agreeing with me. As they have also tried 4mar when it was around last yr.

Another person, IV'd some of this. said gave NO rush what so ever <--- which also was what happened to the 4mar that was around last yr.

I do not have neither mandeline or marquis atm :(
but i'm gonna go get em. and give this a test.

anyways. anyone else got this heaven sent present ??? ?:D

I had some white shardies as you mentioned recently, it shits all over the crappy gear I've had... Even the good stuff ( meth that looks exactly the same as this) tends to smoke differently (read: MORE SMOKE), whereas this stuff lasts ages in the pipe if you don't burn it, and tends to smoke up at a higher temperature from what I can see...

Erowid doesn't have a lot of infromation on 4mar, So I'm skeptical and still assuming It's meth?
 
Reagent testing is the key.

Meth = positive for amphetamines, 4-mar = No reaction.

It probably goes around more often than we think as most people don't reagent test their meth and would put it down to differences in batches.
 
did u sweat a lot, on that batch of shardies ????

did the after effect of the shardie last for AGES. like i'm talking about 20+ hrs after having your last toke and you're still pretty charged up and no sign of coming down or tiring down. and eat some food feeling like u've just had a fat rage?

if u can say yes to all of the above. then i'd say u prolly did get 4mar. also another key is. The urge to redose is almost minimal. When u've reached an highness. like after smoking half a point/1point etc. u just dont have the need to want anotehr pipe ? :)
 
Yeah.... I didn't sweat like i normally would.... Body temp was elevated but not constantly sweating, it came in waves so to speak.

I've been on it all weekend, used maybe 150mg or so... or less, last dose was 4 hours ago and I'm still nicely charged up.

I did get home last night and 30~mins after puffing and I was able to go to sleep (I did have to try as in.. lie down eyes shut, I wasn't feeling tired, but this was after 40 hours awake so it was well received)

Needless to say, with the last dose being around 4 hours ago, I don't have an appetite but food does not revolt me like it would if I was speeding.... I can't usually even be in the same room if someone is cooking something fragrant. I did eat half a packet of Doritos lol.
 
Tested the few crumbs I had from the bag with a mandelin tester, results were lime green gradually darkening to a dark green....

This seems to indicate Meth.

Unfortunately I do not have a Marquis tester, I do have a mecke but do not believe that to have any use in this regard?

EDIT: 30~ mins after the reaction has changed to somewhere in between aqua blue and dark green.... Even looking a little black in certain angles. Heh.

Marquis is much better for testing amphetamines in my experience. I have always found mandelin to be a little greenish and trying to see a green reaction difficult.
 
Unfortunately I had neither. I did videotape the reaction, but yeah.. pretty sure its meth lol.
 
Simple melting point test will suffice...
Using small stove, oil bath with digital thermometer and pyrex vessel or test tube with sample of substance that will go in oil bath.
melting point of methylaminorex is 120-130C,
melting point of methamphetamine is 150-170C
Also 4-mar shards are very weak and crumbly, by squeezing baggie with minimal force shards break in small linear shards and powder.
meth you have to squeeze hard.. apply some force to brake shards.
 
Oh i'd loVe to see that coming back in the underground market.. Potent, long lasting and apparently less neurotoxic than most amphetamines

About 2003/4 I was sold something claimed to be 4-mar, "proper ice." I have no idea of the authenticity of the claim, but this stuff was glass-clear, easily crushed and most curiously gave me no rush when iv'd. In fact, the seller warned me not to do another shot immediately afterwards due to the lack of rush because I would be very high very swiftly.

Anyway, I pushed in the plunger...waited...waited...felt a very clean rising force but none of that dopamine explosion from a good meth hit. In about 30 secs I was very clear headed, focused, wide awake, elevated heartrate and definitely quite high on something. I have to say though, I found the whole experience very unsatisfying and after about 12 hours ended up going out and buying some meth as I was still craving that rush, ha. I suppose the "4-mar" could very well have been shitty meth though.

Anyway...does anyone know the reason for this apparent lack of a rush?

It sounds that you got some good looking l-meth or trans-4mar, l-meth just like trans-4-mar only elevates your heart rate and pulse, absolutely no euphoria or rush.
after hour you probably felt very agitated and pissed off from lack of rush.
l-meth shards look so clear like you almost could see through them..but its garbage,.

There are 3 types of 4-MAR (±)-cis and (±)-trans, and racemic(mix of cis and trans isomers) ~cis isomer of 4-mar one that is very addictive and produces euphoria and rush 10x times stronger than cocaine or best d-meth. trans-4-mar is shit though, is just like l-meth dosent produce any euphoria or rush.
Last time i did 4-mar was in 2010,
I remember i wacked 25 mg of good cis-4-mar using insulin syringe, the rush of the shot was equal to 200mg of good pure d-meth or .2 of good clean coke. except
i was flying for 16 hours from 25mg shot without redosing, a second or two after injection i got ringer similar to coke, after short ringer
while rushing i had some visual and sound distortions for about 10 minutes.
Couldn`t stop staring at the painting on the wall.. It felt like i had tunnel vision and my mind was flying with speed of light inside the painting,
after that memories are blurry.. I remember i cleaned my whole house including garage,
the time goes so fast on methaminorex its unbelivable, after i cleaned my house i had crazy music ideas, i decided to practice on my drums for few hours only cause it was getting late, 9pm.
My jam was disturbed and shutdown by ring bell and bangs on my door at 3am, when i opened the door there were standing two angry police officers that asked me nicely to turn down the music
cause they have received 3 calls from neighbors about loud music.. After they left and i looked at the clock i realized its 3am, i`ve been drumming non-stop for at least good six hours.
As much as i was high i was also shocked, that i lost track of time like that. thinking to myself "How the fuck i lost 6 hours????" "what the hell happened?"
I dont remember the jam at all, my body was working separately from my mind.

meth or any other drug will never feel the same. At least after i tried it, meth lost all magick for me and i became obsessed with 4-mar.
I vaporized it on many different occasions, had 5 day long binges on it. When its vaporized it melts and starts vaporizing much faster than meth,
tastes like meth, but it numbs your throat kinda like crack just less intense and no crack taste,
also back of my skull felt numb for hours everytime i vaped it.
I chased it once on tin foil, and as soon as i moved lighter away, in split second it recrystallized without rolling it on foil. in light creamy opaque color,

I don't think that's necessarily true. It might be your experience, but everyone I know finds ( high grade) meth & 4-MAR fairly interchangeable.
 
cartoonhead the best 4mar(i didnt test so cannot confirm) i had in recent times was over the xmas/new years 2010/11, i had a tiny amount still in the bag maybe 20-30mg and i decided to snort it. Fuck me it hit me after maybe 5 mins, an intense rush like that first line of awesome coke. Felt more like coke than meth, just without the crazy need to chat to someone, lol i remember sitting there and just thinking wow that reminds me of coke. Idunno why other ppl have not mentiomed/tried snorting*** i agree with crankinit that ice/crystal meth and 4 mar are very similar, the effects of snorting meth and 4mar (well the products that i believe where meth and 4mar) like i wrote above was different.. I would start to see differences into day 2 is when i would start noticing the differences (only if what i had taken was 4mar). ****

Sorry but I sorta disagree with that statement. From memory, I think it may have been the second time I had gotten on to 4-mar and I was very uneducated about this drug as it was new to me. I remember smashing about 100-150mg in a very short period of time and remember feeling a euphoria that I have never felt so strongly before and even to this day, no amount of Meth/LSD/MD has even come close to that single experience.

It was during new years so obviously i was I a house full of drugs, and I remember not touching anything and not wanting to touch anything for a good 12hrs+ as the feeling from the 4-mar on its own was almost overwhelming. But in a good way.

12-18hrs after dosing on 4-mar I had been up for quite some time, was quite cooked/paranoid, physically and mentally drained. But I remember still having that euphoric feeling inside me and even though I was pretty fried.. that euphoric feeling stayed inside me in some sense. To this day, I have come across very high quality Meth that has given me a somewhat similar experience, but it has always been lacking and always will be lacking that 'magic' that 4-mar has IMO. Not sure if that all makes sense, apologies in adv if it sounds like I'm just ranting with random shit
