quiet night in here with some whisky, wine, o-dt, mpa and something else. Looking into buying a tablet so I can surf the web and stuff in bed lying on my side, but I'm struggling to find one that fits my many obscure and exacting requirements... listening to old skool pink floyd (Piper at the Gates of Dawn).
 
I do that with a laptop .. or a dell netbook with a good sized keyboard. laptop has decent in built speakers/sound too ... and can be hooked up to my bedroom tv to watch tv downloads and movies via a bigger/dual screen

why a tablet?

Have to be able to lie on my side! Doesn't work with a laptop. Well, you can do it but it's a pain to keep it erect. Upright rather. And I can only lie on one side with the laptop as there are cooling vents on one edge.

What's your evening's entertainment marmz?


EDIT: Thing with tablets is they are about half as powerful as a laptop at the same price, which is a lot of cash when it's just to satisfly the need to lie in bed surfing the web. I probably just need another couple of whiskies to justify the spend. Or maybe some more ethylphenidate would push me over the edge.

Tis quiet, hello marmz! I do all my posting from my iPhone, don't know about hear tablet thingys, I need a laptop of my own really :)

Do you get the special MXE font? My computer always gets the same strange font after I've taken a dose...


Oh just remembered, when I had my etizolam hospitalisation session on Sunday I lost my memory card from my phone, on it was my as-yet unreleased "How to Plug" video. So if some heartless sod finds the card and the video makes it's way to YouTube.... well, I'm not sure how I'll feel...

Yeah knock, the letters are all dancing to the music! It's weird when I do mxe the letters morph and make capitals! :) still here just about

no no no the font ain't thin! it's more round than anything! everything looks round. Next time I'm on MXE I'll draw a picture, it needs recorded!
 
Morning Yella, see another one up bright and early, got any plans for today?

Mine are boring, cleaning day for me today, well a run round the house with the hoover i pod plugged in having a wee dance to myself:D
 
Not sure yet hunny.. perhaps music and cleaning.. Maybe lounging about in the mess :D
