Ford Laser. I like it.
My Ford is on the all original engine, transmission, clutch, everything (even radiator, which is rare) and its got 186,000 or so miles on it (that's 300,000 km) - still running great, although it hates cold weather. I run at 35% antifreeze/coolant and 65% water so the car runs cooler in the summer...but it just runs COLD in the winter. Not a problem once it warms up though. Got the typical Ford creaks and squeaks, of course. Like most good white trash Americans, I used to park my car on my lawn, and many pieces of the car (read: the hood, the rear bumper, a good portion of the lights, some of the interior) are junkyard sourced.
Only major work done is replacement of the shocks and struts (both front and rear), replacement of thermostat, thermometer sending unit, temperature gauge and sender, fuel filter, etc. It's on its forth oxygen sensor. Good times.
