The BDD Social & Information Booth v17 - Bewildered? Drugged? Discuss.

I'd proceed with caution (in regards to mixing ketamine and tramadol) - check out the threads in PD about ketamine, I believe there is (or was) a combinations with ketamine thread...

LOL nice.

Time to make a thread me-thinks. I'll post my thoughts in there instead of here..

Cheers folks, hope yer all having a good day, especially you lou!

Uck, woke up with a cold today. Just went down to the courthouse and parted with three hundred dollars for a fine owed. My nose is so runny, having a hard time railing my dilaudid. FML today I guess. I hope everyone else is doing better than me!

Ps- aveo, passed out before reading your post last night, but had real lulz picturing me coming out of your computer and slapping you about the face with my boobs!

Winter + Illicit opioid addiction = frozen goose fleshy hell. 1 and a third of 8mg sub strips heading my way though. Wearing a coat in my room damn...

Agreed. Fuck opiate withdrawal in the dead of winter. No matter how warm I am, I'm still cold.

Well, that was the situation until I snorted some buprenorphine, took half my daily lorazepam dose, and started smoking a bowl.

I think that when I eventually do quit doing opioids, I'm going to have to have amassed a massive weed and benzo collection beforehand.

I've been tapering down finally. Today I only had 7.5mg of oxycodone around 8am, and so far 100mg of tramadol. Bupe was good for maintaining at a good cost, but sucked for everything else. I actually have the will / energy the move around the house... No benzos for another 2 days though :( whatever, they'll be more effective when I do finally get them, and it's not like I'm WD'ing from them, so whatever.

Still no conclusive data about K + trams other than this: http://www.anesthesia-analgesia.org/content/104/4/912.short which indicates that it's non life-threatening given the use.

If you can't find any information saying you shouldn't do it, I say still proceed with caution, and use lower than normal doses of both the ketamine and tramadol...I'm not a ketamine expert, but I remember reading people mentioning it killed pain (possibly had action at the mu-opioid receptor). Could cause an interaction with ketamine? Possibly.

Did you check out the threads in PD?

I don't ever take more than probably .1 at a time anyhow (well, per bump). Prefer to maintain a fuzzyness rather than dive into a hole. Much nicer to k-stomp about or try to dance. :D

Ketamine does indeed act on the mu-opioid receptor - there's a potential for issues with Suboxone, and mixing it with alcohol is bad news in higher doses (of either). I suspect I will tread with caution, but go on with the experience this evening. I've found caution regarding serotonin issues mixing DXM with Tramadol, but nothing regarding Ketamine. I suspect that because I've been fine on a lot of LSD + MDMA (and perhaps methylone - I've gotten burned a few times, but not with inactive stuff, just a cathinone instead...) while doing Ketamine the entire time. Guess I'll be able to give everyone an answer by tomorrow. All I managed to find was a terribly large amount of concern regarding Ketamine and schizo people haha, ahh well...

I did indeed check out PD, including posting in the Ket combo subthread (which hadn't had anything relevant in it since '09). We shall see...
