Heroin Social: Version 5

Hey Charlie: I had a job as a lab tech were we were doing reserch- it was actually working part time in 2 different labs. I administered MDMA, DOI, dexedrine, and other psychedelics in one lab including PCP sometimes, and coke, heroin, meth, and other habit forming drugs with rats. I felt like I was being nice to rodents- in fact I was jelous of the little furry bastards.
Never did stick my hand in the cookie jar- but I watched one of my collegues make up a batch of our dilute heroin solution. She had a jar of pharmaceutical grade heroin- 20 Grams! She left the room- I was thinking of it (this was almost 20 years ago, about a year and a half after I got a habit- but she was back like a minute later.
So do I qualify as a friend of mice? was a little more cold blooded with the last one I caught though.
Anyway, Happy New Years to you all, may 2012 bring us all good fortune.

Today we have the Iowa caucuses- the democratic nominee is Obama. But the republicans are the ones that are in a battle for nomination. They have Ron Paul. This guy has suprsingly risen to 2nd place in the pools. He has the youth vote depite being 76. The guy is an Obstrician turned congressman from texas. Among other things, he belives all drugs should be legalized- heroin was one drug he named specifically in the debates. He also believes the US should stop sticking our nose into other peoples' bussiness. To take the troops home. Bring back the nuclear ballistic missle subs from Holy Lock, Scotland, for instance. Wouldn't that be nice- people in other countries might actually start liking us. But a platform that limits government's control of individual freedom, is antimperalistic, ect... horrifies the evangelic, authoritarian, and moderate wings- a large segment of the republican party.
The fact that he is honest and not out to do the biding of lobbyists and corporations almost assures his loss. There are a few sensible people, people that can think freely and critically. Sadly most Americans are brainwashed- but alot of the young are behind Paul. Just wondering if anyone had heard of him over on your side of the pond.

Thanks for the advice, I've decided to buy a 'gluey-louis' from the local hardware shop around the corner and catch it on one of those, and if I cant get one there I'll look around in town tomorrow afternoon. Its a strip of card with adhesive on one side, so when he sticks to the surface I can just pour a flask of hot water on top and it'll melt the glue, thus freeing he into the wild. No doubt he'll make his way into another persons home but at least I wont be accountable for killing him. I just cant do it - he's been a part of my life the last four or so months at least (yes, I'm lonely) - I've even named him (Steven - spelt Stephen). The guilt would tip me over me edge. He doesnt fucking deserve to have his little spine smashed to pieces by one of those traditional traps - he''s never hurt anyone for christs sake, its only about 4 inches long (tail included).

I never heard of gluey louis before, be-careful when you go to pour the hot water on it, don't burn poor old Stevie! I can totally understand why you don't want to kill him! I am a big animal lover & i do a lot of voluntary work in rescuing animals! If i ever win the lotto i will open a huge animal sanctuary! It is so rewarding helping animals, i love every minute of it! Although i do come across some heart breaking cases, but every time i save a dog or cat or what ever i feel so much better, but i lye awake at night worrying about the ones that i haven't been able to help (yet!) I truly mean it when i say that i much prefair animals to people! (i know that is not the right spelling of 'prefair' it wrecking my head trying to think of the right way to spell it! & spell check is not helping!!! So can anyone help me out? Hi all,
After being at work for about a hour today a supervisor came up behind me and asked me if I had been to see the manager yet as I was supposed to have seen her when I got in. I hadn't as I had no idea that I was supposed to so I got instructed to go straight to her office, I was told to let myself in and wait for her as she had gone to the kitchen for something. So off I went to her office and as instructed I walked in.... What I saw next I really wasn't ready for and is something that I never thought I would see....
My boss, with a lighter in one hand, a piece of rectangular foil in the other and a small wrap of light tan powder open on her desk as she was heating up the foil ready to have a smoke. She was mortified when I walked in and instantly shit herself. She kind of froze and didn't even try to hide anything, like she knew she'd been busted. She started crying and spent the next half a hour crying to me and pouring her heart out to me, telling me that she has been really stressed out as of late and that weed just wasn't helping. She said that she has used h in the past and knew that it would help her now but it is getting a little out of control. She's not using daily but has noticed that over the two months since she started again it is getting more and more and has been every other day is week. I said that she needs to stop before it takes over and ruins everything for her.
I offered my help and support in any way I can and I said that I would keep my mouth shut for her. As I said that, she said she wants to give up right now and handed me the wrap that was open on the desk, she asked me to take it to the gents and flush it down the toilet!!!! Yes I said!!!! There is probably about 1 - 1.5g in there that is now sat next to me while I'm I'm bed typing this!!! Not only is it fre gear, but it is good too, the tan stuff that I have been going on about for the last few days. I would like to get her comtact's details because I can only get it in bags so it is expensive, but it seems that she can get it in weight!

Quite correct, but don't forget, the man is a non-interventionist. One can argue that his position might harm the US middle class but will
help the rest of the world if he is elected (including Britain). Its funny, the man is a straight libertarian but the American right is portraying him as a left wing kook. He is not getting alot of coverage in the media- all these should be seen as attributes. This guy wants to return the US to its roots. I would be suprised if he is elected, much less nominated. But what is possibly arguably bad for the US middle class will help the brits- this idea of non-intervention- unless you like the US meddling in your afairs or being the world's police- if the makes you a right winger wcote then sign me up.
I appreciate your and maxalfie's input- but trust me- he is an island of sanity, honesty.
But assuming his domestic policy is that of a right wing nut- well his foreign policy will help the UK and the rest of the EU (and ultimately the USA). His economic policy has the potential to help the USA which ultimately will help the EU (the world economic machine, when the USA is vibrant helps the Euro welfare state because it provides the revenue in the global economy that has evolved to keep the Euro welfare systems working.)
But ultimately he stands for individual liberty.
However he doesn't stand much of a chance of securing the nomination or if he did, victory in the primaries. He is more of an idealogue.
Ironically, for socialism or marxism to flourish in Europe you need a vibrant US (and not Chinese, Russian, or Indian economy). This is the engine that fuels Europes' economy.
But at the end of the day he is the only honest politician I can think of- the rest can't wait to rape laddy liberty. And he wants to legalize all drugs. Obama's reneging on upholding medical cannabis in states were it was already allowed in recent months was a major dissapointement.
US politics are more complicated than right and left- he is a libertarian...not an authoritarian- he wants to restore the USA to its roots.
Anyway, he is running a close 3rd currently- probably wont win, but if legalizing drugs and staying out of other countries affairs makes one a proper right wing kook- then sign me up! This guy is missunderstood- he wants to restore the US to its roots set out by the Founding Fathers- and remeber, he wants to close all overseas bases. All this sounds fabulous for Britain- and legalizing all drugs...whats to dislike... his platform is hard for the world to understand because its based on principles not utlitarian concepts.
I can guarantee one thing...if he was elected... the EU heroin drought would come to an end...its a product of Obama's administration fighting poppies in afghanistan, an adminstration that made a promise to the med cannabis movement that was recently reneged on.
I bring this up here because this is the most intelligent, freethinking group on bluelight- if I took this to CEP I would get attacked by like 10 Canadians before I could make a point. Worst case...whats bad for your average American is good for your average European.

FWIW I would ask her to come for a coffee -out of the workplace- and talk to her about your own 'dabbling'....It would make her feel alot less vunerable, would make you instant buddies (I don't know what sort of relationship you have at the moment with her) so that sneaky long lunches might be in order (for a toot) and of course getting a good contact. BTW the reason for going out of the office for a coffee makes itt a personal chat rather than an 'in work'conversation.

Personally I know fuck all about politics, less still about foreighn politics. I have very little faith in our own politicians , and very little faith in the majority of people that vote them in! Crappy policis like Blairs 'banning fox hunting' will get half the country to vote for him, the same people that 'looove' animals, but also like to eat them, wear them and test on them!, And then the policy just gets forgotten, it was a total lie. This happens over and over again IME

What line of work are you in glitched, if u dont mind saying? If I was you, I'd politely suggest that you feel you are long overdue a payrise and a promotion, and that you would like to work from home. Throw in a company car and a petty cash account and then you would feel valued as an employee
