Why do people use steriods?

and how ironic you know nothing of my recreational uses...

Sorry pal, there is no such thing as recreational opiate use. If you're not using the medication as it is intended for severe physical pain, you are ABUSING it. No two ways around it.

Regardless, I see no need for your scare-mongering. I give two shits what you think about steroid use, abuse, or misuse, but the point is, you used opiates. Whether it's once in your lifetime or everyday doesn't matter; and whether you want to believe it or not, it harmed your body. There is no need to be weighing out which drugs are worse.

Opiates is fucking high on pills and Voxide is confused with hunger from HGH lol. I was the one who brought opiates into this lol.

Building your body back eh? I would say your continuing to destroy it by taking steroids, knocking off years of your life span, winning a girl over with your physique but at the cost of a greater price, meh... classical blindness... Feeling incredible now? wait till your older you'll feel even better haha !

Having a nice body is like driving an incredibly nice car everywhere you go; whether it is a job interview, to a party, or to a club, you will get respect from just about anyone without even trying. Then there are the effects on your own confidence levels. Seeing yourself slowly improve and your life improving around a simple thing like a physique change is an amazing experience that I believe every person should experience.

It just requires a little discipline and patience.

I agree. I wish I had all the money I spent on heroin to spend on peptides, supplements, protien powder, food, vitamins, and steroids.

Still, if it wasn't for the heroin I wouldn't be who I am right now and I might not be here posting this or look they way I do now.

Yeah I think of it like the movie "Trainspotting"

No way of saying any part of life is regretted. You learn from your mistakes and find the best path from there.

This. However, you try to avoid making mistakes from which you will learn jack shit from.

If your entire world is eating every three hours, living by workout splits, never going out and you've done it for years then you might be ready for steroids.
llolololol thats the criteria? you gotta have a miserable life first, and only then you are ready for steroids? lettuce be reality: you could make great gains eating 3 solid meals a day supplemented with 2 or 3 shakes throughout the day. that could easily fill your macros that you would fill eating 6 meals

If that's where your passion lies I wouldn't call it misery.

You're totally right man. Fuck strict dieting and having a miserable life. You gotta have fun and not worry about shit like that.
After all, look how far this philosophy has got you!

Josh was spot on with that criteria because if someone doesn't fit that to letter, they will run a cycle and then end up looking like you; which is mediocre for natty standards, complete shit for steroid ones. Why don't you post a picture of yourself so we can all see how great the gains are from eating 3 meals a day?

This is dangerous in my opinion. Beefing up to "get your confidence up" can go two ways. You'll either get there, or continue to pump your veins full only to be never fufilled. Confidence and self-esteem issues can be helped by excercise etc but if you have deep issues you need to think about exploring different avenues for "help".

I used to be incredibly shy around birds until I was about 16. I'd never dance or any shit like that. Then I lost my V plates and tried Mdma for the first time. I know it isnt for alot of people but MDMA really changed me for the better. Since that year, four years ago, I am the one ;)

At the moment, I have bronchitis, and reading that really hurt!!

SORRY GUYS! I admit I was a little prick about all that... can we kiss and make up?

I guess we could skip the kiss part too if you wanted..

It's all good. You started an intelligent conversation. There isn't a damn thing wrong with that.

Indeed. Some people at my job think I am miserable for the way I eat and train but I'm not. Eating healthy, training constantly, and researching steroids, peptides, pharmaceuticals, hormones, and supplements has become a passion and it brings me joy. So much joy that I decided to moderate this forum and I want to share that joy by becoming a personal trainer.

I bet he would not only give it a rest, but respect you if you trained right, ate right, and acquired the correct attitude. Go forth and prove everything he knows about you wrong.

Steroid safety vs opiate safety:

The question is where's the damage threshold and how much knowledge and control you have to do things right. Opiates are safe, with minimal side effects if done right even at recreational doses, but with repeated use its way too easy to pass that low threshold and spiral out of control. And you often don't realize you've passed it until you have and you're in deep. I'd wager that its easier to safely use steroids. Also, quitting and getting things back on track is easier with steroids, as they don't typically change your behavior as much as opiate addiction does.

The ultimate question is if the use of either is worth it, with the answer to that being rather personal to their users.

Pretty much. I don't care that he took steroids at 18 (By the way e92, you might as well start researching HRT and ED treatments right now) I care that he took them with a barely rudimentary knowledge of diet and training and then expecting to blow up.
