I was at a friend's for a dinner party last night - posh food (ate lobster for the first time) and down to earth people, was good. I stayed overnight and woke up, still sweating wine, to a call from my downstairs neighbour telling me that there was water coming through from my bathroom into theirs :! Third time this has happened! Fortunately it was a small leak but I've spent the day scooping damp ash out from under my floorboards and waiting for the plumber. Been in a pretty good mood despite this. Had an invite for drinks with a couple of friends tonight which I was looking forward to but it turned out at the last minute their whole family is involved and I can't be bothered with putting on a sociable mask tonight, especially as I had it on last night. Pisses me off a bit when friends come as a package with a load of other cunts. So it's me at home on 3-meo-pcp, maybe some wine, and computer games I think, which is fine by me!

I can speak for the alchies half a bottle of scotch and 8 cans of red X wuuld just make this worse, possibly ending it the smashing of the TV in some stumbling confused furry
 
every week my letterbox gets throttled with about 10 crappy leaflets advertising different junk food delivery joints

why ... why ... WHY hasn't some smart bugger managed to circumvent rules & regulations to enable them to deliver me booze yet?
I desire a 1hr alcohol delivery service to maintain my alcohol:blood ratio to acceptable levels. surely it can't be that difficult to sort out.

I just realised that booze hasnt passed my lips for about 3 days and it wasn't intentional. meh. a throat virus is interfering with my drinking habits. I don't like it
 
There are still some booze delivery services about, I think. In Edinburgh it was a company called in60 but they stopped a few years ago [edit: 11 years ago!]. Not sure whether there were legal problems or something. Definitely some still do it in the Scouse area.

Always overpriced though!

overpriced makes sense, given the circumstances and opportunity to capitalise on desperation. kind of understandable

think I'm gonna have to get dressed, face the wind and infect everyone else with my throat disease to buy wine.

ATM [or anyone else for that matter], did you complete Movember? and if so, where are thee pictures? hrmn?

I didn't shave my armpits for a month, but I'm not sure that qualifies as a legit Movember effort ;p

I did post temporary pics but I'll PM you my page I sahved it off yesterday but did toy with the iea of keeping it !

I've named my kittens! They are identical, from the way they look, walk and follow each other about. They even sleep in the same position, so I've called the girl Deja, and the boy Vu. Though, sometimes I might call them the wrong name, as it's impossible to tell them apart.



This is Deja, the little girl.

That's some cool names cherry! You may be able to tell them apart as the get older, don't know though! Hopefully they won't get offended at you calling them the wrong names! :)
