Desert island Discs/Drugs

I think the MDA would also be a bit soul destroying stuck on a desert island on the comedown lol.
 
i was wondering when you would change your drug from MDA as nice as it is .

Surprising how many folk are going for opiods when maybe that wouldn't be their DOC in the real world.

If stuck on a desert island i might be tempted by a nice stash of opium, despite never having tried it (with the exception of poppy tea). With nothing much to do, a nice relaxing euphoric drug would probably work better for me than something like MDMA or MDA, with the associated comedown, and i may as well go for something a bit stronger than cannabis which is my usual choice.

However, upon getting rescued i may be upset to find myself addicted to the stuff...

Can i cheat and ferment me some coconut milk as well?

Music wise i really couldn't narrow it down much but i would take 'Bach, Vivaldi: Concerti for 2 Violins' because i never get tired of listening to that, and something by venetian snares probably.

I'd take a book by Ian M Banks, whichever is his latest one i've not read, then feel bad when i'd read it.

The drug would definitely have to be weed, have you seen the smoking contraptions stoners can construct given enough time/boredom? You would probably have a full mansion with hot running water, sky tv, xbox and a yacht by the end of the first week.

Yep I gave it quite a bit of thought, with nothing to ease the comedown and being all on my tod with no one to chat utter bollox to I reckon I'd get bored of it. I have little experience with opiates but I think you can sustain a long term habit more easily than with allot of other drugs and relaxing on a beach nodding out on opium with me tunes would be a little corner of paradise.

Mr M, I have a feeling with what I've got on my list, I'd probably hide is I saw a ship on the horizon ;)
 
On second thought, maybe an Opiate isn't the best idea for a desert island drug of choice. I know in my case I'd be nodding out as the plane flies above me, only to have me wake up and waste the flare by shooting it into the nearest tree!

Not many people are choosing a luxury. This thread is quite intresting Brimz, I'm still not even certain of what I would actually take. For the luxury would you be allowed to take a woman/friend? Even if she was just your friend you'd end up shagging anyway probably. Or if not a pistol with 1 shot? If you couldn't even have the pistol then your drug choice would need to be an OD'able one.

The idea of having an unlimited supply of ketamine is fun aswell, but in reality tollerance would become a cunt too quickly and I'd be sat with a fucked bladder and nobody to help. At least it steady's the nerve and passes the time though, the likes of stims or psyches to me seem a daft idea. I think weed would drive me mad thinking too much aswell.

I think I know what you mean and have probably heard a bit of it because it's definately not the first time I'vee heard about something like this. Might tune in next sunday and see.

The idea of being alone for that amount of time I'd probably want to take a laptop with facebook/bluelight/msn/skype but obviously no internet on desert island. Think I'll revert to the traditional pistol with one shot. Large bag of ketamine and just turn myself into a machine til I could swim to civilization. I've always been pretty scared of swiming far out aswell, fuck knows why.

I would like to have a push-bike to cycle round the island but I imagine the wheels won't work well on the sand. I suppose I could run instead. I would take scuba kit to explore the waters but that's probably not allowed as I could use it to escape. Likewise any kind of flying machine. As a proxy for some mode of transport I will take:

Luxury
Remote controlled helicopter

and use it to chase the seagulls away...

Shit I just realised Brimz made up EADD rules... ah well there's no going back!

Yes. As would daily ketamine use result in fucked bladder, or heroin use result in addiction. Stims on your own aren't great tbh, you'd be talking to the trees. If it was a stim I'd def take MDA not MDMA.

Can you bring a boat as a luxuary? Ocean going yatch?
 
Hmmm I'm 100% about my choice of drug, tunes and everything bar the luxury item. Seen as we're left on a desert island surely we should be left with the traditional pistol with 1 bullet anyway. If we were I'd take a tool kit and try make a raft... Or maybe not, maybe a cushty as fuck sleeping bag, accept I'll be stuck there and just proceed to enjoy my surroundings.
 
I'd already thought of this, but doubt it would on a desert island. Surely you mean blackberry anyway ;) Where you gonna charge it anyway?
