switching from subutex to suboxone

With Suboxone: The lower, the better.

Read the Suboxone Mega Thread and you'll see the majority of people agree. That's because at higher doses, Buprenorphine has more antagonistic properties (uncomfortable effects) while at lower doses (8mg and below) it's more agonistic (comfortable effects).
 
has anyone tried smoking Subutex off foil? I know it sounds dumb (like smoking oxycontin)

but someone told me to try it... and i've been off all bupe for a year... and it actually worked! tastes like marshmellow

you would be suprised my friend....i mean, there are actually people out there who smoke oxy's and other pills, why would they stop at suboxone? I have heard it works too, but in a weird way, and you have to be opiate intolerant.

Anyway, I wouldnt reccommend doing it for obvious medical reasons.
 
ive smoked OC once, thats not weird imo....

smoking bupe just seems to be werid to me

I only tried smoking the "generic subutex" brand.... I imagine the 8mg suboxones wouldn't work quite the same way...


the subutex brand tasted, and felt similar to smoking oxy's ... i know its a bit of a waste def...
 
If they try to charge you more for the new pills, I would go back on Suboxone, due to them both being the same chemical.
 
i agree with this........ saving money is worth it.....even if you dont like the flavor....

but im lucky....i do like it.....mmmm drugs....

but seeing as its only 2 percent bupe, it does seem harmful....

When i was in detox this junkie scumbag fuck(call him that because he seriously fucked me over but thats not to speak of here) told me how you can smoke bupe and it hits nicely.

Personally i'd never smoke bupe...%)

every pill out there is for money....if it werent for money we would still be smoking opium...and only way to get it is to grow it..lol
 
You will not notice a thing! The reason is that they are basically the same exact drug, Suboxone simply has naloxone added to it. Naloxone is supposed to prevent users from injecting the drug, but in reality the buprenorphine has a higher bonding affinity, so when they are taken together the naloxone has no effect. It was only added so Suboxone could be sold without violating the patent for Subutex.
 
Naloxone is in Suboxone for political reasons only. It does not block other opiates, the buprenorphine does that with or without naloxone. However, it appears that for recreational value Subutex is prefered. Personally, I find Subutex to much better than Suboxone. No nasty taste and it works better for me all around. But from a medical point of view, they both do what they are intended to do equally well.
 
I've never ahd the nalaxone affect me when IV'd personally..maybe I didnt do enoguh.. I only do like 1mg the times I did t.

SEriously though smoking suboxone?? Dumbest shit I ever read. A generic roxanne subutex weighs in at exactly 400mg. And 8mg is active ingredient (I weigh my pills while I am tapering down.. 50mg = 1mg bupe etc.../
