I totally agree that both 'the avengers' & 'the mummy' SUCKED. In fact anything with Brendon Fraser si just awful, he makes my skin crawl.
As for 'Dogma' though, i LOVED that movie!

Actually, if you LOVE science fiction films all of those that Snakecharmer mentioned could be on your list. Just as a horror film fan hates "Jason X", many sci fi fans (this one included) hate plotless crap like "Phantom Menace".

Danny Boyle's new film '28 Days Later' is an absolute pile of cack and should be avoided. A complete insult to taste and intelligence, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I wasted my money - now you don't have to.

Aside from "Trainspotting" I cannot fathom the hysteria surrounding Danny Boyle. "Shallow Grave" was pretentious crap & "A Life Less Ordinary" & "The Beach" were HUGE critical & financial disasters. Who the hell is giving this twit money to waste?! Someone like Jim Jarmush or Mike Leigh or Ken Loach or John Sayles could've made FIVE good movies with the budget of "The Beach" alone!

Let me add the latest Star Wars film "Attack of the Clones". It wasn't even a movie--it was basically like watching someone else play a video game. I can sit through anything--hell I saw "Prospero's Books" twice in the same week--but after an hour of this I bailed.
The main problem with the film isn't the absence of plot, the unconvincing CGI effects or the lame dialogue. The main problem is with the lead actor--I will not bother learning his name--who plays Annakin/Dart Vader. This man is THE WORST ACTOR TO EVER WALK IN FRONT OF A CAMERA!!!! I mean it, I have never, EVER in my entire life seen a performance as bad & I have seen Pia Zadora in "Butterfly"!! I am not just being a wiseass when I say that I have seen better acting in fetish porn. At least in fetish porn there is some approximation of passion. This fucking robot couldn't conjure up an emotion if he were set ablaze!!
With all of that time & money George Lucas couldn't even come up with a movie on par with "Invasion of the Neptune Men". Move aside Michael Bey, old George just may claim the Worlds Worst Director title from you!!

Yeah but I was not aware of this fact till I put in the dvd with all the special features. I just think they could of picked a better scene to end the first one.
