Benzos why is diazepam so nasty?

I have never taken Diazepam but it couldn't be worse than Zopiclone aftertaste, right?

Most benzos taste pretty bad IME, clonazepam is the only exception (who doesn't like that minty flavor?).

I think they add the mint flavor. SL tablets are almost always flavored, i.e. clonazepam, odansetron, hyoscyamine, etc.
