I believe adding baking soda not only increases absorption, but INCREASES a lot of unwanted negative side effects such as the unpleasant stimulant amphetamine qualities, irritability, muscle tensionc headache, etc...

This is complete and utter bullshit!

It won't freebase because you actually need a non-polar solvent (benzene, cyclohexane) -- which your stomach don't have unless you are dying from hydrocarbon poisoning

The hcl protonates the MDMA and the chloride ions separate in the water of the stomach

tums or baking soda won't do jack, the stomach discomfort is because of the action on the serotonin receptors in the gut and stomach


if it was the HCL (which is ridiculous as there is maybe 20-40 mg of actual HCL -- less chlorine/chloride than you get from a packet of salt) -- you would puke right after taking the pill

Nope you puke just before, during, or after the come up -- a good 30-45 minutes after taking the pill -- which has long dissolved and been absorbed
