Indeed. The real kicker was the fucking CGIing of Rory Kinnear's face onto so many people, especially a disturbingly adult looking pre-pubescent boy.

Some of why I hated Men were reasons I disliked Annihilation; gore, pure and visceral gore... but at least Annihilation used it well and had a plot? Men was just a fucking... I dunno, it too was visceral, but very disappointing.


Nothing else good out right now that I can tell so it's what I saw for my $5 Tuesday viewing. Might go see the new Top Gun: Maverick flick this next Tuesday but having rewatched the original film a few nights back, I don't see what it can be other than another ad for joining the Navy and having lots of mostly naked dudes fist bumping and such while playing volleyball.
 
No Time to Die (2021) - I'm not the biggest James bond fan but this was pretty good. The ending sequence was fantastic, one of the better movie endings I've seen. 4/5
