What could be wrong with my health physically?

Back in July I was using cannabis edibles a lot (only edibles, I never smoked), all day every day. I had a high tolerance and just kept popping high strength THC candies throughout each day. Then all of a sudden I develop an intense warm pressure feeling in centre of head I've had ever since (not "painful" as such but annoying and very discomforting). So I abstain a couple months and in Sep I eat a small edible and the pressure feeling got worse. Now in Dec I still have this pressure feeling in head and unable to use cannabis because that makes it worse. I'm stumped what it could be because THC isn't supposed to cause physical problems only psychological.

Current medication: 2mg Risperidone daily

I'm not drinking or using any other rec. drugs.

I will see doctor soon but anyone have any idea what this could be and what could have happened? It appears to be physical and made worse by THC.

I would talk to your doctor about risperidone and weed. Not knowing enough to even hazard a guess on those two interacting well. Do you have any bleeding issues from risperidone? Could weed be increasing blood pressure?

Head pressure, even when not painful, should be a doctor visit if it is persistent.

Go to your doctor and be honest with them you'd be surprised how much that'll help them. Weed isn't such a big deal I've told doctors i was shooting and taking all kinds of shit when they cut out my abcess from shooting drugs .

I can't use weed anymore because it would make the pressure in my head much worse.

It seems to me that Risperidone is the one to "blame". It is an antipsychotic, antagonist of all dopamine and adrenaline receptors, antagonist of the most serotonin receptors and agonist for histamine receptors. It seems that Risperidone has an accumulative effect, so the longer you will be taking it, the more effect you'll notice later. I would ask a doctor if a combination of such antipsychotic would even be allowed with THC. Imo antipsychotics do not go well with most of the high inducing drugs, and rather do the opposite. But since you have been prescribed it, you should stick to the course of treatment and try using cannabis when the treatment is over, or ask your doctor about your prescription options.

Anxiety can cause weird feelings in your body which seem very physical. Just saying...

Could be that the cannabis is making you focus on it more rather than actually doing anything.

It could be stress or anxiety, the Risperdone or any other medications you take, or a side effect of the edible cannabis? Like someone else posted see a doctor, and tell him or her how you use cannabis and which other drug(s) you take or are prescribed, and what's happening.

You will not get into legal trouble by telling the doctor or medical professional that you use drugs like cannabis, or have in the past.

I don't use cannabis anymore at all and haven't for some time now. Yet the head pressure persists.

I agree with this statement. The drug Respiridone builds up in your system over time and so does Marijuana/THC. Because antidepressants can not be stop suddenly, you must do a step down dose if you do decide to stop. The W/D are horrific cold turkey. I have been there. They are worst than opiates in my very humble opinion. I would see a Doctor asap for the weird head ache. You never know, its possible for it to be just dilated blood vessels and the brain readjusting to the chemicals, it could always be something else like sudden high blood pressure. Please take care and I hope you feel better soon.

I'm in a bad way.

Been to doctor- blood pressure fine, balance and grip fine. She looked in my eyes and ears all fine.

Then she said CT/MRI scan gives off radiation which puts the user at risk and such a scan would come up negative anyway.

She said she has seen this before, it will go away and 5 months isn't long.

But I'm not convinced, I'm worried I will be stuck like this and wondering if there is anything else I could try. Isn't there neurological clinics/headache specialists I could go to?

As I said, this sounds like feelings induced by anxiety. I've been down a similar road... I kept looking for physical symptoms as to not need to acknowledge that the real issue was in my head. If a doctor can't find anything wrong physically, you're probably fine in that regard.

Feeling physically weird is mostly just that. And if you experience anxiety, you are even more likely to focus on these feelings

Ps people who overdid it with weed are often having anxiety issues

I read such non-sense in this topic, anxiety, being honest with doctors, wow...maybe because I usually post in other drugs, whatever, you guys are next to it by a mile. OP, did you google to see what's in the center of your head? If you feel pressure there, the first thing I would do is I would google and see what is actually pressuring me! So educate yourself, I will give you the answer this time:

The pressure in the center of your head means that the doors are open. It means whatever good thing you see or feel will cross the prefrontal and enter the gates...without a passport, without security check. It's just there waiting for good things to come and nothing is going in. When you feel a pressure in the center of your head after smoking weed, it means now's the time to receive oral sex for hours in a row and finish with a mind-blowing orgasm. It means you opened your doors and your cortex is not fulfilling the demands of your thalamus. So the next time you feel that pressure, go get a warm massage, and invite the masseur/masseuse to visit your genital area as often and for as long as they can.

So you're saying that pressure in the head means you need to bust a nut?

What if OP's got a tumor growing up there? I don't think fellatio's gonna fix that... Or an embolism or thrombosus... Might help with an effected nerve or strained cranial muscle (I'm thinking the occipitalis, but when I fuck that up it's more of a numbing sensation that turns into the same feeling as having my hand or foot "fall asleep,") but that'd be more of a relieving-the-symptoms-of-pain/unpleasantness situation than it would be a solution.

Bro, seriously, your advice is wishful thinking-- no more, no less. Trusting Google more than a physician who knows your medical history is unwise for the average person. A large part of practicing medicine is experience and the wisdom that experience brings. Choosing not to seek medical help in lieu of finding any way possible online that what you're going through is not serious is a pretty willfully ignorant way to go about taking care of yourself, even when you're right and just need to cum real quick to get those voices to go away.

I never said pressure in the head, I said pressure felt in the center of the head, non painful, like OP described. I never said don't go to your doctor, I said that being honest to your doctor about your marijana use may not be the best idea you can get. In fact, I never said anything you said that I said, you're putting words in my mouth so I'm not wasting my time with you. Try harder.

And grab your girlfriend by the pussy more often instead of worrying about giving her a thrombosis or disturb the nerves in that region, I guarantee you she'll like it and she will experience no such problems :)

Bro, you responded to a specific question and then answered to your own rewording of that question. It's not my fault for thinking that you posting in OP's thread asking about advice for what he's going through would be an attempt to help him-- especially when you stay on-topic and only mention you're talking about something totally different (8)) after being told that you're giving shitty advice.

I'm not trying to do anything other than keep a few delusions (and -als) at bay here.

Also, I like your avatar but think it could use more color.

And a strawhat.

And maybe a creepy li'l jolly smile or somethin'.

I appreciate your attempt at building rapport with me based on the fact that we have similar avatars but it's not gona fly. You have not understood what the OP has asked:

I had a high tolerance and just kept popping high strength THC candies throughout each day. Then all of a sudden I develop an intense warm pressure feeling in centre of head I've had ever since (not "painful" as such but annoying and very discomforting). [...] anyone have any idea what this could be

She asked what that was. Read that more carefully, "an intense, warm pressure, not painful, but annoying and discomforting". You might have motor oil under your fingernails so my above explanation may have been too much for you...you're having a really hard time today by the way, but I'll put it in better suited words: She felt what you feel when you see a nice ass on the street and can't fuck it: Frustration. She smoked weed, got excited, and felt frustration because she did not fulfill that excitement.

Go tell your mother she has a brain tumor. Go, run!

[EDIT: Ehhhhh never mind. It's just not worth it. This is supposed to be a friendly environment and I'm good at twisting that sometimes.

I'm walkin' away here. Hope you figure it out, rarerran.]

You know, I need to have a serious meeting via PM with moderators because the most annoying trend on this site is people who reply, like, in a drug topic about an issue, and they never used that drug, they never had that issue, they never read about that issue but, naturally, they feel an urge to tell the OP that something wrong might be going on, that they might have a tumor, that they should be honest with their doctor rather then risking for their health concern to go south and bullshit.

The strength of this website is our expertise, that when someone out there uses a drug and feels something, we can pinpoint what that is from our own experience and knowledge. It is not a website where you beat around the bush to increase your post count. You post if you know what's up, otherwise, you abstain from teaching people meaningless lessons. We don't want to hear your folklore. You either know what up, and you post, or you don't. How simple is that?

From your experience, do you know what that pressure is? Do you know how to make it go away? Do you know anything at all? Or are you just going to tell the OP to see a doctor? Like, are you guys able to contribute at all?

You know, I need to have a serious party via Drugs with stoners because the most annoying trend on this site is people who smoke, like, in a drug topic about an issue, and they don’t share.

The strength of this website is made stronger by Performance Enhancing Drugs.

From my experience, I would talk to more doctors.
