fabric19_andrewweatherall_packshot.jpg

Never been a massive fan, saw him a couple of time at House Of God in Birmingham ad I kind of just filed him away in my excuse of a brain as good if nothing special. I have had this for years but have never given it a proper wax until now as a result of the same attitude. So far so good

^ That must break the record for the longest off topic post. I bow to your superiority young sir... =D

You a fan of Tess Parks?........I get the feeling if you don't know her you should check her stuff out. I am not sure but I get a feeling you'll love her stuff as much as I do.

She's definitely got something mate, but I'm not sure if it's my thing or not. However..

Posted many a time before - but it really IS that good.

Magazine - "Permafrost"

https://youtu.be/fCzSeeiAFqQ

Also;

Magazine - "Motorcade".

https://youtu.be/PFcww-6BL24

Look out for that cunt Mick Hucknall in the audience at about 4:20. Just goes to show that whatever your influences, some people are just destined to be shit...

Magazine - "Thank you Falletinme be Mice Elf Agin"

https://youtu.be/hfTqrQ-FZOM

Funky - and just goes to show that some covers beat the shit out of the originals...

And finally, the best cover version ever recorded:

The Stranglers - "Walk on By"

Tess imho has a very heavy melancholy vibe to her stuff but it also lifts me up at the same time.

Tess Parks - Somedays is one track I love & always play when I am down, her first album has seen me through a really rough rattle before.

Yeah I am quite a fan of proper blues, National Steel guitar, glass slide & recorded in the Mississippi Delta.

Not sure if you ever heard Townes before, his well worth checking out. This is one of his tunes I feel inside my soul, the title kinda gives it away but the lyrics are done by a man that knows the "score" shall we say.

Townes Van Zandt - Nothin'
