Saw a bit of footage from the D&B awards last night where they did a gorgeous memorial to all the fallen jungle soldiers from the last year. Not only Tango - fucking Marcus Intalex passed away last May as well (xxxxxxxxxx :( rip xxxxx ). I know I am a shut in nowadays but how that passed me by I do not know. Gutted.... again.

Love their early stuff, that first album was something else. Tunes like Crimewave, Baptism etc are pure classic. That Alice woman that sometimes looks like a bad sockpuppet on sale in Oxfam is kinda sexy in a strange way.

A fan of more darker "witchhouse" btw?

Never heard of 'em till yesterday but I had seen his weird looking face around before (Mark E Smith)
I looked into the group/band & sadly a lot of the fans seem to be cunts, you know the type that go to University to study art & bang on about Dada like it's something new, wear skinny jeans & think it's "cool" to do heroin. These people are NOT the kinda people I wanna be linked with if I am honest, they usually sit around playing Velvet Underground records in nasty looking flats, smoking weed with books by Karl Marx on the shelf.

I swear to God I could tell what that lot were about (The Fall & their fans) after 5 mins of looking at them, then again I am a uber fan of Les Rallizes D?nud?s (裸のラリーズ, Hadaka no Rallizes) & Hanatarashi (ハナタラシ) so I guess I am a Japanophile & really should be kept away from planes =D

2 of my fave sets ever were from the Pure Energy the previous year (sept 1993 @ Plymouth warehouse)

LTJ Bukem has done some amazing sets before in my opinion, my god thinking back on them now makes me feel old (well I fucking am tbh)

Just stuck that Dance Planet set on you posted, my bedroom floor used to be covered in old TDK tapes of Hysteria, Pure X, Dance Planet & Telepathy (Old Skool Shabba anyone?)

Robbie Dee is classic, MC Lenny with Mistress Mo was one from Flashback I used to love sssssooooo much & Ranski (MC)
