watch arrested development.

Agreed.

And then go back and watch The Honeymooners, The Odd Couple, All In The Family, Taxi, Cheers, It's Your Move, Frasier, Viva Variety, Lucky Louie, and *gasp*, The Sarah Silverman Program.

Yes, as Belisarius astutely alluded to, MOST sit-coms do indeed suck.

So instead of going on and on and on bitching about the bad ones (those of you who are doing so), why not spend that time finding the GREAT ones, and enjoying the fuck out of them?

Most PEOPLE suck, in my opinion, and yet, through the years, I have somehow managed to sift through the shit, and by doing so, I have found a bounty of friends for whom I'd take a bullet.

You've got a finite amount of time and energy on this here planet.

You might want to re-think how you spend it.

^not to mention that by viewing and therefore supporting above mentioned craptaculocity, you are in turn in fact perpetuating the practise of creating such shite.

i have personally not watched a single entire episode of seinfeld, raymond, 2.5 jerkoffs, according to dickhead, and a rainbow of others. the adverts for these show plenty to have me running as fast as i can for the nearest straight edge.

friends would also be included if it weren't for the wife and her insistance.
