Film True Grit (2010)

Just now checking it out. This film is right up my alley.

I can't remember if I brought this up before or not

But what was up with all the I can not, I will not, you ought nots...
I mean didn't they use contractions at all back in the 1800's?

I assumed there grammar was way worse back then...

Was it like that in the original film though, I never saw it?

I agree. No one should ever remake The Green Berets...Ever.

Not to say that pro-South Vietnam propaganda doesn't have some place in our modern world, we just haven't found it yet.

Jeff Bridges does a steller performance as does Hailey Steinfeld, however Matt Damon does nothing to accent the film. I have to disagree with Zulkifar, he remained uninteresting to me and seemed illcast for the role.

I really liked True Grit, and all the Coen bothers movies.

The hanging part part is definitely my favorite scene
