This movie has been announced to be in pre-production and is by Tom Six (the guy behind the Human Centipede movies).
Anyone know anything about it?

Happy I dont

Haha. My morbid curiosity refuses to let me not watch it.
Any "extreme" or "banned" movie, I cannot wait to watch it. I think because I've seen it all and nothing fazes me so I wanna see more and more extreme horror. I guess it's exactly the same way some people get about porn.

Hehe. I had to tell myself no at like 16 cause my curiosity did not have a sense.

Watch the legendish the serbian film while waiting :)

Lol, I admit I decided to pass on it.

My bestie told me it was fapworthy so I guess it must not have been all bad.

And no, I wont watch it haha

A Serbian Film summed up in one word: Pedonecrophilia.
I used to be very into the obscene and absolutely mind fucking gore, but since I have had a baby, I can't watch anything that even hints at hurting children. It fucks me up. Women though? Destroy them ?

The Human Centipede was a great movie, and I'd damn sure watch the Human Caterpillar.

The sequels were unwatchable but I thought the original was really well directed. If you were able to cope with the content it was quite stylishly done.

Totally forgot about this thread. Any news on the movie yet?
I feel like - if it IS in the same vein, which it MUST be with that title and the same guy behind it - they could have done with so many other animals to make it different.

As long as they don't call it The Human Dung Beetle because that's my autobiography coming to a cinema near you soon!

I just realized: I think he's trying to up the ante with this one. Caterpillars don't have limbs, so they'll probably end up as quadruple amputees too.

Human Centipede was a masterpiece I have on DVD, but I can't take anymore of it on a new depraved level. I didn't see Human Centipede 2 because it looked too repulsive.

IMDB is still showing Human Caterpillar as "in development" so there's literally no information on it.

The 1st Human Centipede had a few funny parts. It was a film that, when released, got a lot of its "fame" from the internet...the story of people being joined together to form a "centipede", the mad scientist plot, everything about it was just ridiculous and strange and kinda lent itself to becoming an early meme

I remember thinking most of HC1 was pretty uneventful, though. Definitely nothing special. There were quite a few strong horror/thriller entries from Europe during that decade* but Human Centipede wasn't one of them IMO

I never saw the second Human Centipede film (and from what I understand I'm not missing much), but isn't the HC2 main character a fan of the first Human Centipede film? I don't think a director has ever referenced the first film in a series so explicitly in his sequel lol

*A Serbian Film being one of them IMO. I agree with you that it's a "good movie", although I wouldn't recommend it to everyone because it's got some content people may find offensive/disturbing. Human Centipede is more "mainstream" than A Serbian Film is but ASF is the better film of the two. It's weird because ASF's production is very polished, very professional-looking, it really looks like a project by some people that knew what they were doing and not some fly-by-night movie by extreme guerrilla filmmakers. But then the plot descends into this...really crazy, super dark/morbid/transgressive movie...it's a one of a kind film for sure.

But yeah, there were a couple others from around that time that I quite liked as well, like Black Death (2010), Mum & Dad (2008),and End of the Line (2007), from our friends in Canada

I mostly learned don't go to another country and get lost like a dumb ass.

Seeing people look like the Human Centipede for Halloween was fun.

The 2nd and 3rd were awful. Just B-grade crap. But the first was really well directed.
