the glitch thread

I dunno... a lot of what's been mentioned is sort of dancefloor music. What gets called "glitch breaks" where I come from.

When I think of glitch i usually first think of more experimental stuff like Richard Devine, Mira Calix, Proem, Autechre or Brothomstates. Stuff like that. Definately not something like Bassnectar or SOTEG, that's for sure. Those are just really good breaks. And to me, Volsoc is just electro break stuff. A lot of what they do is analog, and sounds electro.

MachineDrum is probably my favourite doing the glitch-hop thing. I amazed how under the radar he still is in some circles. Pretty tight sounding stuff.
 
bookmarking this for when i get home. i'm a glitch-hop dj and have a lot of stuff to add to this thread (personal mixes, classic artists and the upcoming folks in particular).

I must say, although this was a sad thing to see, his dubstep is pretty dope, and the addition of boretta to the group has brought upon some pretty wicked live shows and vibes.

he has a glitch, glitchhop, dub vibe

he has a mix that Psylo707 posted in the recommendation thread that is absolutely out of this world
 
Glitch/Crunk/Whomp

I was wondering if anyone had a particular interest in this genre of music that could possibly direct me too more of it?

I'm familiar with some artists: Opiuo and TooMuchPorn been the best description.

But it seems the gems are hidden quite deep with this genre, and i end up finding more glitch-hop then anything, any direction would be awesomely appreciated ;)

anyone got any cool tracks (original, or just glitch tracks you dig)? Old or new, doesn't matter.
 
I dig some of his stuff, but most of it is a bit too low key for my liking. I'd love some hard hitting high paced glitch
 
Tipper is the shit, his latest albums wobble factor & broken soul jamboree where really good.
