probably pretty stereotypical, but heavy, weird dubstep.

anything by minneosta, he's favorite of mine; saw him last year at this fest called bella terra and he changed my life.
also, space jesus's "Hudson prophet" set of his is pretty wild. let me see if I can get a link up here;https://soundcloud.com/spacejesus/hudson-prophet-2014-set
now THAT'S killer on a heavy dose of ket.
uhhh, lets see here. OH! thiftworks, damn his new stuff is made for being down the rabbit hole. heres a link to an awesome mix: https://soundcloud.com/theuntz/thriftworks-exclusive-30
i'll have to definitely check out all your guy's stuff.

papadosio is good too, but you gotta be careful cause they're stuff is hit and miss. DMT was an awesome ep, though.
string cheese incident also super good.

What happened to this thread? Last post was nearly a year ago. Have people stopped listening to music on dissociatives? I still feel like music is a critical device in engineering the setting of a dissociative trip. If no one else posts I will!

The only dissociative I have ever taken I ket and music is very hot or miss while I'm on it, it is never consistent from each time I use K and if I don't like the music then it can really sketch me out.

This is what I've been listening to most on MXE recently. Someone might've posted it in here before but it would warrant a repost either way %)

A few weeks ago I still remember seeing this like I was inside the show, on weed, beer and 3-MeO-PCP <3 Bonobo live it's just spectacular!!!

Well I'm happy this thread is back to life. I love Bonobo!
I just came across this mix by Whitebear who by the way makes great music for psychedelics IMO, dense and techy but usually downtempo; energetic but relaxing. This mixset is more on the ambient side, like slowly dripping sonic honey, great for the late night holes in the dark.

If anything, this thread is a reminder of how different everyone's taste in music is. I've found albums in here that I looove on psychedelics, that'd I'd likely never listen to on a disso hahah, and vice versa.

I always tend towards the more ambient for dissos myself. This album I just found today and I think will be great for my next go with MXE:

For the time being I've just been listening to it while playing Star Trek Online hahah

You can find a free download of all of Stellardrone's albums too on their bandcamp site, great stuff!

So good laying in bed on a good dose of mxe.

The song tiny raindrops takes me to another world.

If MXE was still around this would certainly be the next album in my M-hole queue. Spacey Psy-dub is one of my favorites for inducing M-holes. Something about it is so inviting but not intrusive, yet rich and enveloping in a way that resonates with the energy of MXE. The echos and effects make the visions and feeling shift color, while the relaxed driving beat keeps the signal alive. I dunno if other dissociatives will work for this music quite like MXE, but K or DXE with a touch of a tryptamine might work, but they might still lack the energy that really make the trip move.

thoughts?

Listening to it now while reading philosophy, on tianeptine, really kicked in the euphoria- certain sounds have been inducing warm body waves.

Im prodominatley a metal fan, but i find that hard to listen to mostly on dissociatives.

This entire album though when on dissociatives is like a journey. it peaks at all the right places, provides extreme levels of euphoria and takes you to distant places. very very mellow though, i barely count this as metal. Many of my dissocio loving friends are heavily into this on trips due to me tipping them, even if they dont like the style.

Otherwise, i very much like Igorrr, with all its weird eccentric sounds and electronic pulses. And the album dopethrone by electric wizard is monolitic on these types of drugs.
