I know, but that line I mentioned is supposed to say 'it' as in , happiness.. changing it to drugs, makes the song about self medication, or addiction.

Wow, honestly didnt realize there was a format. I just went with the most logical way to explain why we think a track is about drugs haha.

It's about a girl he's in a drug relationship with. they need to get high when they catch up. I was in the exact same thing. The amount of shit that is duplicated between his life and mine is uncanny. Self fulfilling prophesy i think

Well there isn't an exact format, but it only makes sense that the person should break down the lyrics a bit and explain why they think that could refer to drugs. Just naming a song doesn't do much in helping us understand why they think it could be about drugs in their own mind.
 
I remember being told at a house party (first time taking an E in fact :D) that when the effects are wearing off if you hold your breath with your face in a sink of freezing cold water that you'll come back up, my friend recently told me this song reminds them of me, couldn't help but associate the chorus with a cold sink.
