Sex with a Prostitute

Honestly, it's all completely personal. You do you. If you feel comfortable paying for sex go ahead, just be careful not to catch something. I've never done it, but I don't see anything particularly wrong with that either. Under the influence, on the other hand, is a big no-no for me. I don't drink so it's not an issue, but drugs are something I would not touch with a ten-foot pole. I don't think I want to pay for sex, though. I'd rather find a willing partner or just watch porn. It was created for a reason after all.

Before my current girlfriend (who knows I've fucked lots of prostitutes in the past when I was traveling) I used to frequently use them while I was away on business all over the U.S. it's easier than being single and going out after a long days work and trying to pick someone up at a bar, having to actually engage in conversation and flirt. I'd usually get outcall ones to come to my hotels if I wanted more than just a BJ/HJ since it's a little trickier going to a massage place to actually have sex, usually they just want hj/bj although some here in NYC still let you have sex with them.

I ALWAYS wore a condom and didn't do my typical rough stuff in fear of a condom breaking, slow and steady :D

Personally I think prostitutes should be licensed and expected to obtain professional training.
The qualifications could be graduated so that only prostitutes with let's say a bachelor in prostitution would be allowed to work independently.
Apart from things like health care, financial management, psychology and self defence, prostitutes could learn about sexual techniques and hospitality.

Well maybe not the full college terms, can't imagine a girl going to school for 4 years to be a prostitute. That's the problem with the US as it is, kids being forced down an assembly line of COLLEGE OR FAIL AT LIFE. It should be regulated with health checkups and I want some of that taxable income ;) no reason to have to teach a prostitute sexual techniques, seems like more of a money grab scenario for me, they'll just go back to doing it off the books illegally.

When I was still in high school, I would go visit brothels in rural Nevada at least once a month. I have good beard genetics so by 16 I had a full set and looked of age. Had a fake id too.

Fun times :)

I don't know what you were on when you came up with that idea, but I want some.
Also why psychology and hospitality ? They are mean to bust your nut not give you therapy and cook for you.

Edit :
If a prostitute was smart enough to learn all those areas she most likely wouldn't be a prostitute in the first place. Not saying that all of them are dumb but if you can learn all that you can do better than prostitution.

I pay for it regularly and have absolutely no hang up's about it. But i don't mind condoms. It's legal where i live and although the system isn't perfect as far as the welfare of the actual sex workers providing the service their safety, standard of living and outcomes as far as STD prevention is far more positive if sex work is de-criminalised.

Despite what the radical feminist and religious conservatives argue the vast majority of international research proves a legal and regulated sex industry is more empowering for both local and migrant sex workers wishing to be paid for sexual services.

As for why i personally pay for it, i live a private life and things just haven't worked out as far as meeting a mutual partner for sex. Another big factor for choosing to pay is I am attracted to women who are "out of my league" .

I'm a bit of a dag who has never done well with the opposite sex so it's paid sex for the time being seeing as i can afford it at the moment.

And for what it's worth i respect women, i just really like the ones that are available at the local legal brothels in home country.

I get tested for STDs at my local medical clinic and so far so good.

Plenty of prostitutes are pretty smart but just got dealt a bad hand.
If you think that a prostitute doesn't need psychology, you know nothing about why men go to whores.
Four years college sounds fine, but I was thinking more of three month courses, organized so that the girls could work as well as study.
Uncertificated girls/boys would have to work under supervision, but certificated ones could work as independents if they wanted.
Madams would have to hold better certification (including knowledge of business organization, personnel management and the law)
In pre-revolutionary China the business was regulated and prostitutes were categorized by quality.
The whole thrust of the programme would be to encourage prostitutes to make provision for the future.
Acquire skills that could used in other professions.
Normalization of the profession in order to reduce stigmatization.
Make prostitutes less vulnerable to violence from johns and exploitation by pimps/madams.

I'm someone who has gone down the college pathway, have a successful career, but on the side to supplement my income (& because I love sex) I have done sex work (& still do). My 9-5 co-workers have no clue that I'm also a part time sex worker, but my friends know. Where I live it is a regulated industry, however there is always the opportunity to go off books (which I tend to prefer as I like my income!), but it is a requirement for all sex workers to have regular complete sexual health checkups.

Im also obese, but that certainly doesn't stop men choosing to have sex with me, and regardless, I still have the choice as to whether I have sex with them or not. Life's too short for sex with someone you're not attracted to, paid or not!

The truth of the matter is, I'm probably healthier than the last woman you picked up at a bar. Thankfully here we have free healthcare, so there is never no reason to not have checkups, even when I don't work.

""With any woman, you pay. Prostitutes just tell you their price before you get involved.
qft

Women can end up costing you more than money, at least so long as you use a rubber there's little to no potential future problems and no heartache.

Yes the cynical view works to an extent. Just wait though until you (oops) fall in love with the prostitute you have been visiting.

Why on earth would you pay to see the same prostitute twice?

The lack of any emotional attachment is the best feature.

What if you don't use them for just the vanilla stuff and one particularly good at the kink you like ? In my opinion this is the main advantage of paid sex. You get what you want how you want, regardless of how unusual it is, for a right price of course.

This is how it used to be. They were called Courtesans and were trained in sex techniques as well as hospitality. It's sad that these high quality services are no longer available.

In countries where prostitution is legal, it is regulated. They are licensed and check for diseases by the Health Department.

Legal or not, prostitutes will always be around. IMO, in the interest of Harm Reduction as well as for entertainment purposes, it should be legalized and regulated. They provide a valuable service.
