When I went to San Fransisco, my friend Spenser and I basically just took various drugs and played music for five days, and this is what we managed to finish.

My old band from highschool, "Drawing Mountains". Only thing I have decent recordings of.

Anyway let me know what you think... My music has probably matured a bit since then but unfortunately I don't have any complete recordings of latest band, "Weekend Jail", as we were all addicts and ended up not getting shit done before we broke up.

But anyway I think City of Oak is maybe the best in terms of songwriting although not technically difficult or with great sound quality. Really enjoy that one, also Moscow.
Well I like all of them but just check out the EP

Anyone?
I'm about to just make a thread.
This has been up for like a week with no feedback.

NEMD can be a slow section. We have this thread for sharing our own creations with each other. We don't allow threads dedicated to one person showing off their music. That's how the snowball of spam begins.

That being said, I'll give it a listen in a little while.

Waaay too emo for me bud. Most high school music is, really. Don't be discouraged from what you love to do though, keep moving ahead with it.

Damn sounds like a mixture of rap and metal^ interesting

I just figured out how to master on my tascam but the mix came out terrible, the chorus in this tune will be money when I legit double up vocals and record and change the verse chords not digging the G-Bb and maybe even the pre-chorus the chorus is all that is what came from this moment of inspiration

What do you mean by "emo" ?

I know people's definitions of genres vary greatly which is why I'm asking-- I would have never thought of it as emo.

Like... What are some bands you consider emo?

damn drop, capo on the 9th fret... i've never seen anyone put a capo on that high lol

nice work tho m8

Just really looking to spread our music and get some criticism and feedback, and if you like, follow us on facebook. Give our music a listen and see where it takes you! I know it is somewhat electronic at times, but I figured it fits in the "non electronic" forum more appropriately.

The 2 most popular songs are World Map Theme and Nerve, just fyi.

lol thnx bro. Well it says on all the official sites that it is E-B-A and that sounds correct to the recording and the ease of singing in key but I was like no way that is how dylan played it. My theory is he was a half step down played G-D-C and then the people that mixed the studio recording dropped it a half step on top or they just dropped the full step and dylan played in G more likely. I didnt feel like dropping a whole step and wanted to play the key that I knew so I capoed at 9. I like that key b/c the chords flow way better
