I've always loved this guy's work
but never spent the time to find out who I was looking at
until last week...

But this one particularly catches my eye,
probably the least 'literal' of his works:
Day Of Last Judgement
is almost like a Magritte.

wings/gargoyles on the Empire State:
Where the Rat-Pack drank...
Did you know...
that Count Von Zeppelin originally designed airships
to travel in a caravan pulled by the front engine-balloon...
an air-balloon-train?
The Graf Zeppelin spent 8 years in service,
traveled over a million miles,
once spent 21 continuous days flying around the world,
flew to the North Pole,
funded itself by delivering mail
(couldn't make enough back from sales)
could sleep 72 passengers and was stable enough
that you could stand a pencil on its end on a table in flight?
I felt like this last night:
