^My parents have all sorts of nick-nacks around the house. Art, photos, mobiles, posters magnets.
It all tells a story about their lives and my family if you know what you're looking for or what to ask.

^They're both very keen gardeners. My Dad is so proud of their vegetable patch and the beautiful flowers everywhere.

^The very last of the tomatoes from Summer. My Dad fills up baskets full to the brim when they're in season and my Mum makes the best home-made sauce EVER.

^The avery was next to my my bedroom as I was growing up and I always could hear the birds right up until I went to sleep, and when I woke up every morning.

^The adorable Maggi [or Maggot as I call her].

^I have no idea how they've managed to keep everything so healthy and beautiful with such severe water restrictions.

^No harm in asking. She's bitten me a few times in sisterly wrestling sessions and I didn't have to make any kinds of requests. Maybe try wearing a long, dark wig and stand close to her. She'll snap soon enough, I'm sure. :D

And here's me trying on other people's wedding dresses. Cos' I'm creepy like that, and that's how I roll.

Actually I lie. It was my sister's idea to try this little number on as I'm going to a Princess party in a few months and was scoping out the local Op Shop treasures. They're generally a goldmine for dress-ups. She almost convinced me to buy it [at $20 it wasn't really going to break the bank] and dye it black with red accents so I could be a Princess of the Dead or something equally as gothic and macabre. She's into that kind of thing.
This particular dress was made from WHITE PLUSH VELVETEEN as was the floor length train. Scary. And fucking heavy.

I think I'm just going to go with my trusty olive green medievil gown complete with lacey Princess sleeves that drape from the elbows.
