They ARE Potato Cakes... For christsake people, how do you not understand the difference.

Yes a slice of Potato, or such that has been "Scalloped" is a "Scallop of Potato". You can pan fry that, bake it, fuck even BBQ it.

However, the addition of batter, will make said Scallop into a "Potato Cake". You don't look at a bread roll and say "Mmmm, this is a great Flour" now do you?

i want to see an actual scallop potato...
it would be a potato that lives in a shell, i'm sure it would feed on guiness, have the accent of a leprechaun and perhaps be found at the end of a rainbow.

fry it in batter and no one would notice the difference :D

also, just so you know, this chicken has some quite nice breasts...
