Not sure whether I like weed or not (former H user)

Like others have mentioned here, weed is much more predictable/enjoyable when you have a tolerance (unless you enjoy the "psychedelic" side of weed).

Terence McKenna once said the best way to smoke cannabis is ONCE a week, preferably in an isolation tank (or a room with no lights, outside stimuli). That makes sense to me if you are a psychonaut...but if you use weed to escape reality then no, it doesn't really help.

On the other hand, IME...if you smoke weed daily and become used to the effects to the point where it relieves you of all anxiety...then there will be a rebound anxiety/paranoia once you stop smoking. So all in all...if you are prone to anxiety/paranoia then stay away from weed ( easier said than done, but I really wish I hadn't started in the first place sometimes).
