not that it matters, the kit tested for purity as well. The purity seemed close to 100% methylone based on the test results, minus the unknown bubbling. I'm tossing it everyone.

First of all, good call! I hope you have more luck next time. Apart from that whatismolly.com only sells marquis reagent, so it isn't possible to test purity with that...

it's the same for all colour reagents. they only give you an idea what's inside (which is already very helpful as you have seen), not how much. to know how pure your stuff is, you'd have to send it off to a lab.
