the past few years ive told my story around BL and in a nutshell, i have been to sick to leave my house till recently. im 22 and havent done it since 19...the idea seems all bad besides the sex. im scared of stds, wasting money and moral/pride reasons...im just ready to pop and need a release...porn isnt cutting it anymore

Once may be fun/exciting/novel. I use 'escorts'. I guess, I can see pros and cons. Cons are possibly diseases. And I often want my money back. I'd say its best to either go for the cheapest ones you can find (they seem to be more, uhm, willing, and maybe think less of themselves which can translate good in respects), or go for an expensive one, with good reviews. Never talk one down in price, or she won't give you good service most likely. IME at least, I did it once and she asked me if I had come almost as soon as I was in her, then basically told me to hurry because she was dry.

Pros.. We, as humans, desire affection. In ways, these experiences I consider therapeutic. I notice, mainly if I haven't had it in awhile, I feel a certain relaxation that lasts days- like some basic need has been filled. I think men can get depressed or have health issues otherwise if they don't get laid. Like, our biological imperative is to procreate. Its good to at least trick the system every now and then. If this means having a FWB, a random hookup, or prostitute, it doesn't matter, as long as it happens. Masturbation doesn't cut it. Ideally you and I would have good ladies... But I don't have that. And I may never get that because I tend not to like what comes to me and what I want is far away/gone, or so rare and hard to get to.

I'd say its best to not have to pay for it, of course... But I wouldnt be totally against it if you don't see other options, and haven't been laid in years. Some are good. You may have chemistry with them or they are just good. Some... Those are the ones I wish I had my money back and had just stayed at home. There is risk in it no doubt.

It can also be addicting.

Sounds like you're in the same position as me. I wouldn't think about it too much, You tend to forget about it after a while...

Occupy yourself with something else and just wait for the right partner.

Definitely don't wear two condoms.

I assume most people know this but still, wearing two condoms is much less effective than wearing one.
 
I've done it for similar reasons, a few times. Felt dirty afterwards, always. I don't recommend it, but that's just me.
