Nicest Compliment you've received lately

I got told I was an alpha female.

I a) find this laughable and

b) think it treads a fine line between compliment and insult, though I know it was intended as a compliment.

Does this mean I'm like camilla? :(

At Infected Mushroom I bumped into a girl I used to be friends with. She is such an awesome chick. Today she messaged me and said it made her night seeing me out and that I was a beautiful person, awwwwwww. :) I feel kinda bad because I made no effort at all to stay in touch with her, largely because of depression, but that's still no excuse.

But oh well, that's the past and we're gonna be going out partying sometime in the next few weeks.
 
I was warning my housemate the other week about an impending weekend of naughtiness, and explaining the expected repercussions would include my looking shattered and most likely incredibly ordinary for a few days.
His response?
'You? Look ordinary? I don't think it's possible for you to look anything less than lovely'.
..and this is coming from a housemate. Who has definitely seen me in my 'less than perfect' moments.

Well if he is gay then that makes it even more of a complement to be honest. Reasons are - A) he isn't trying to get into your pants B) Gay men tend to be drawn to attractive people/things.

If he isn't gay then check your bedroom for peep holes.
