Re: MMA. I never got into it much, but would love to see it live. What is its legal status? I think I remember hearing that they can only do it in a few states, like how Casinos are or whatever. If they could have MMA fights at MSG I would definitely go.

it's only illegal (in the US) in connecticut, new york and vermont. but sanctioning is a separate issue. all the big-wigs are saying 2012 is the year for MMA in NY but there are some heavy politics involved up your way so it's hard to say. i'd like to say it's pretty likely, though. we (WV) were the last state to legalize it last year in march. hard to believe it's illegal anywhere. there's only a handful of people to be fatally injured since it's beginnings.

and every MMA fan in the world has there fingers crossed for an event at MSG. goddamn you new york..

Legal everywhere else. I've had a few fights in the new England area: notably NH, ME, RI, MA. I go to watch fights all the time in MA.

you sure cause california got a state atletic commision , strikeforce fights are nearly always in san jose,plus ufc 121 was in anhalim i think lesnar vs cain which aint sactioned by the nevada athletic commision buti could be wrong

it seems like just about every other strikeforce fight is in or around santa monica/san diego. and i know elite XC has done events in boca raton, FL. i was pretty sure anywhere with an athletic commission was capable of having sanctioned pro MMA fights after the unified rules were brought into effect. could be wrong, tho..

and bisping is going to lose his shit. if he got so emotional over rivera's lame-ass videos, chael's going to make him suicidal. i simply cannot wait.

so the other day one of the funniest things thats happened to me in awhile occured

me and my girl were lying in bed and she said "you mind if i give you a facial" you know with like cream n cucumbers n shit and my reply was " you mind if i give you a facial.
