Stimulants Meth as a pain reliever

People are different I've heard this reported but in the years I used to use that shit it was like causing me more physical pain through muscle cramps tension in the body and what not you might have found something that works for you but don't count on it because it's not a typical story

Yea same here. Initially, during the peak, it helps the perception of pain but then after that point things get worse cause of the stimulation (muscle tightness, tension, etc) plus the vasoconstriction probably doesn't help the pain either.

Amphetamine-type drugs are actually well documented in the medical field as having painkilling effects, especially when combined with opioids, I believe it is attributed to the effects on the norepinephrine transporter. This is why drugs like tapentadol and tramadol were developed - the idea being that an opioid plus a norepinephrine releasing agent is more effective as a painkiller than either alone.
Yes, I believe n-methylamphetamine is equipotent to morphine on some documented level.

Eventually your knees, feet, and back will always be sore during comedowns. Take it from me. The constant standing, moving, holding your body in flexed positions really takes its toll.

I agree on the relief of it as a painkiller (it does great for me), but unfortunately its downsides will usually outweigh the benefits in the long run.

Definitely keep your tolerance down, its way easier to get where you wanna be at that way.

Is this hyperactivity an effect of the drug though?

I've met incredibly lazy people who didn't seem to do much on it... hmm.

Mostly it would cause back stiffness for me.

i am high adrenaline/ptsd type of personality and tend to bounce off the walls or i feel like shit, or both.
I got alot of bros the same way.
I like to make or build stuff, just get hella focused and spend hours all into whatever im doing. Cleaning, xbox, banging when my gf isnt mad at god knows what?, etc.

Yeah, I wouldn't come to expect this effect from meth. The initial adrenaline rush might cover up pain or distract you from it, but stimulants can cause a physical tension which could aggravate symptoms too.

^ The absolute truth. Meth is an amazing pain killer for me throughout the high - i.e. for the entire duration of my binges, but it definitely results in physical tension in many parts of your body and sometimes during the comedown I'm aware of having a really sore jaw, sore back, or sometimes sore limbs - including a sore hand if I end up on a porn site ; ) The cons definitely outweigh the pros here and if you start to use daily to control your pain, well that pain will become the least of your worries.....

Yeah you couldn't be more correct! I am using daily for the pain and, well because I have to now. Can't say I wasn't warned about this in the very beginning! Extremely pissed at myself for this. Stuck. Been here before but not with this substance. Whole different ball game here I see. Need to quit but don't want to quit....want to quit but can't spare the time for the comedown.....want to quit, then fuck it, no I don't. It's a circus in my own heart and soul. Fuck have I done...

I have researched this very topic for quite some time as there is no scientific explanation other than distraction. I call BS. I'm not a fan of any kind of pain pills!! I live in a small town with a huge opiate problem. HUGE.. So I've gone to the Dr. 2 x in the last 10 yrs.
Background my DOC is meth by smoking only. The first problem is I'm an everyday user, sleep, eat, work normally. But if I dont smoke, the lower back pain I experience is debilitating! I would have no problem buckling through a day w/o smoking if it werent for the agony I feel in my lower back. No it's not my kidneys, no I dont have a preexisting injury nor do I have sciatica.
But I do have this bitch ass back pain that to be completely 100 if I didnt, I'd have very little interest in being an everyday user.

I've been scripted regular old dexamphetamine for ages and am well over the honeymoon phase, but when I last had surgery and got insufficient opiates I found the dex to reduce my pain noticeably. No idea what the scientific reasoning for this is but it did work for me.

You won't get a Desoxyn script but as I understand it docs in the US tend to be pretty liberal about Adderall so you might as well bring it up.

No doctor is going to give amphetamines for pain relief. Perhaps, if someone were really immobilized by pain though, there might be a doctor out there who can empathise that an occasional get up and go pill might help.

Highly doubt that though.

Stimulants for pain relief seems a very unusual avenue.
Meth can be used to distract one from pain and raise ones pain tolerance unlike opiates which lower ones tolerance to pain.

When I was using opiates everyday and smoked ice sometimes with really good and clean stuff I could do 3days high no opiates but day 4 was quite unpleasant and opiates were used.also the sore jaw,leg cramps, tension, back pain and headaches are all more of a problem with meth.mdpv apvp 4mar and other cathinones cause far less of these unpleasant effects meth has.

Phenylpyrollidinoethanones (2carbon
a-pvp analogue) has been investigated as an analgesic.also
n,alpha ethylphenethylamine has been investigated as a medicine used to distract one from pain and raise ones pain tolerance like some ppl do with meth.

i've known many o people to come off of opiates with meth and never mention their opiate withdrawals. even a girl i knew came of methadone and never looked back. me personally tweaking out i never felt my body hurting while i was constantly on the move. i think it has more to do with being preoccupied than pain relief but that's just my uneducated guess. i'd be glad to have someone prove me wrong if that's not the case. but when i detoxed boy was i a hurting mess. feet knees hips my head everything hurt.

Noooooo! Say it isn't so!I thought I found a miracle for my body chemistry or something. Well damn, thanks for telling me though. Appreciate that. Guess I'll reallu try tp enjoy it while it lasts so I'm not over here trying to re-dose and re-dose to get the pain relief! You've just saved me a bunch of money and heartache. Plus my dealer thanks you because chances are I might have accused him of switching sources or whatever. Thanks!
Honestly, nothing you take will be the "miracle" you've been looking for.
As soon as you surpress your pain through WHATEVER, it's going to come back worse, and each time you do it again the pain will still be waiting for you, to double and triple in intensity.

The only real miracle is your own body & mind. They could actually fix you, maybe only up to a point where you just don't feel the pain anymore, but I feel that's enough. I've been having chronic pain for a bit over 6 years now and it really does fade into the background, it's like a noise at the edge of hearing. And when I listen for the noise I feel the pain, but when I don't it's just not rly there..
