MDPV - so how dangerous to your body is it?

I could be wrong in respect my estimate for the SERT, but I doubt 1/10th is far off and I believe that the first two figures are accurate.

The binding data I saw indicated roughly 2x greater affinity for NET than DAT. . .

I suspect that Sekio is referring to the fact that the majority of cocaine's cardiotoxicity comes about from action on the voltage gated sodium ion channels, not from the stimulant effect.

Acting on sodium ion channels is equivalent to producing local anesthetic effect because that is the mechanism by which all local anesthetics block signal transmission. Other stimulants would be expected to produce cocaine-like damage to the cardiac tissue only if they were also local anesthetics. MDPV is not. I'm less sure about a-php and a-pvp.
