This is absolutely not true. The oral LD50 in rats for MDMA seems to be about 350 mg/kg. For an average human weighing 62 kg, 350 mg/kg is about 22 grams:
350 mg/kg * 62 kg * 1/1000 g/mg = 21.7 g
That means, by our best guess, an average human who takes 20 grams of MDMA is putting themselves at close to a 50/50 chance of death. And if they survive, they might wish they hadn't.
Sorry koalabear, but I have to suggest you take a closer look at the pharmacology of this substance.
Even 400 mg is a dose that is too large for almost anyone, especially someone naive to the drug. Some people are exceptions, and your gf may be one, but if so her experience is not the norm.
