Imagine not eating for days and finding the most delicious looking, tender, ample portion of your favorite dish on a table in front of you, still steaming. You're so close to it that you can smell the aroma of this perfectly prepared meal. You want it so badly that it causes all kinds of thoughts to race through your mind, how wonderful it would be to just have one small taste, just one little bite. Your skin begins to tingle with desire. The rest of the world is drowned out by the overwhelming need to savor the beautiful taste and to satisfy your hunger.
Now, imagine this having nothing to do with food, but everything to do with physical, mental and sensual desire. You want to caress her (or his) skin more than anything in the world. Primitive instincts take over, fantasizing about every detail of sexual satisfaction you could share with this person. What you would give to rip off their clothes, to feel the soft texture of their tongue, to allow your hands free reign over their body, to devour them sexually.
The extremely demanding (sometimes even painful) erection aching to enter this beautiful body just compounds this experience.
Mind you, this can happen anywhere. In the store, on the street etc. You can't just be a caveman and take what you want when you want it. You still have to be courteous, respectful and polite while pretending none of this is going on. It can be quite frustrating, honestly.
I use the hunger pangs as an analogy because the urge can be just as strong, if not stronger.
