Opioids Fentanyl extraction - what went wrong?

The solubility figures CH gave were for water not alcohol.. I don't know how soluble it is in alcohol but alcohol was the carrier in the original duragesic patches so I'm assuming it is fairly soluble.

Okie good point. Didn't realize tht was specifically for water. thanks for clearing that up.

This thread is ancient but just for your information fentanyl has a very high solubility in both ethanol and methanol.
