i liked groove (and i think there's a thread floating around somewhere), but most others don't.
it *is* a little cheesy, but so's most of the rave scene in general. i still find myself watching it before a rave to get myself in a good mood a lot of the time
^^dammit i thought i was going to be original and say leaving las vegas......great film although it does mainly deal with alcohol.but hey with sting singing jazz so well in the back ground i wouldnt want to sober up either.
i didnt like requiem i just couldnt watch the mother anymore..so i turned it off.
Blow left an imprint thats for sure.
man i really hate not being able to add something new im sure there are some im forgetting....but theres something about watching drug movies with a group of friends in the privacy of your home that that well...makes the chances of forgetting you watched them a little higher...i wont say what but im sure it could be found in the trunk of dr gonzo's rented convertible.
eh? Formula 51 was the title in the US with Samuel L. Jackson
anyways...
this has pretty much turned into "name a movie that has drugs in it" rather than favorite Drug based movie...
Groove was not a Drug-based movie... it was about a rave. And Human Traffic as much as this is one of my favorite movies... was also about clubbing and going out partying... again not Drug-based in my opinion.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Blow
Requiem for a dream
Trainspotting
* Human Traffic
* Groove (best scene is when digweed is playing heaven scent and the song peaks just as the lovers kiss - one of my all time fave scenes in a movie)
* Go - I can't believe no one has said this movie. It's too funny!
* Blow
* Trainspotting
* Pulp Fiction (well, it was kinda drug based)
